    I bought this kit as I was about to embark upon my first home-brew experience. This kit contains everything you need to immediately start your own brew, either from a kit, or from home produce. There are additional things you will need when you want to bottle your product (Campden tablets, wine stabiliser and bottles.)So, what does the kit contain?Two fermentation vessels, graduated up to 5 gallons (approximately 23.5L); one is for your primary fermentation, and the second, which comes with a tap is for racking into, and bottle from. Both FVs come with easy peel lids, and have been pre-bored to accept a grommet for an airlock, or a plug (both grommets and plugs provided)Two airlocks. The newer "tophat" style airlocks/bubblers are small and neat, and apparently quieter than the older style 'S' bend airlocksA large size automatic siphon. This hand pumped siphon will start with as little as one pump, and will not disturb the sediment if used carefully. No sucking on the tube required!A large plastic jug, a long handled plastic spoon, two sizes of plastic funnel.A glass trial jar and hydrometer - essential for checking the specific gravity of your must/brew. With this you can track the progress of your brew, and at the end estimate the %age ABVAn electic brew belt. This will keep one of your fermentation vats (or 2 glass demijohns (not included) or 4 PET demijohns (not included) at a stable temperature if you are brewing at cooler times of the year.A three lever corker and 30 coated corks. (You will need to source your own bottles).A "little bottler" an ingenious piece of kit which attaches to the tap of the second FV. This allows, by means of a ball valve, to fill your bottles upto a standard wine bottle, without having to close the tap of the FV. There are very few drips, and allows a standard fill of each bottle.And two promotional coasters.There are NO instructions with any of the equipmentSince I bought my kit, I'm now onto my second 23L batch of cider. The equipment does exactly what it is meant to; and I would recommend this kit, and Balliihoo as a company to new and old brewers alike.
