I cannot understand those who call this a tiny watch, or who complain that the date is invisibly small. I'd say the watch is actually slightly larger than medium-size, and the date is perfectly legible. I bought it to replace a (smaller!) rectangular-shaped Citizen Eco-Drive watch which was given to me 15 years ago and which still keeps perfect time. There is nothing wrong with it, other than the metal case and the glass have become very scratched over the years, the dial has yellowed, and it doesn't have a seconds hand or date, and I do like to have both these things. The fact that it never needs adjusting, even after all this time, convinced me of the reliability and quality of Citizen Eco-Drive watches, so I looked at the range and couldn't decide between a much larger, waterproof bracelet model, and this more delicate one. I purchased the bracelet model at less than half price, which meant I had money left over to purchase this one too, with its classy leather strap, into which I have had to punch an extra hole to make it fit my fairly slim wrist. Its roman numerals give this watch an air of classic elegance, and the gold-framed date in place of the III is beautifully unobtrusive. A beautifully designed timepiece which I shall try to keep free of scratches.

The Eco-Drive is a really good idea: never again need to replace the battery. Good extended warrenty. The face is a little smallee than we'd imagined (but then, maybe, we didn't read the spec carefully enough).

I bought this for my wife who has a very small wrist. It fits perfectly without having to try making an extra hole in the leather strap. It looks elegant and seems to be keeping time very well so her rather sedentary life (she's disabled and her mobility is severely curtailed) does not appear to affect the battery charging. Setting the time and date are easily accomplished and the face is very clear to read. The only downside is that the calendar date is rather small. I would thoroughly recommend this watch.

This is the second time I have bought this watch. The last time was in 2010 and it worked perfectly until now when I think the solar powered battery died. So no complaints on reliability and I like the slightly retro analogue face with Roman numerals.
