I purchased this air filter to go in my 2014 Ford Fiesta Zetec S. This item arrived the day after ordering thanks to Bolo Prime. In the Box you will find the following:-Air Filter-Installation guide-K&N window sticker-Air filter "Do Not Throw Away Sign" This is to be placed on the air filter coverNOTE#####It is probably best to have the following equipment ready if you are installing the Air Filter to your car:-1 phillips head screw driver-1 flat head screwdriver-1 rag/cloth-1 black bag/ carry bag (to place the old filter in for spares)Installation#########On the Ford Fiesta:1. Open the bonnet2. Locate the Air Filter Cover (big black cover on the right of the engine bay, has a big rubber pipe leading to it)3. Remove the Air Filter sensor attached to the big rubber pipe. This is a wire attached to the Air Filter intake to the engine, lift the red tab then pull out.4. Loosen the engine Air Intake pipe from the Air Filter using the Flat head screwdriver.5. Pull the Air intake off the Filter cover.6. Now take out the Air Filter cover screws (1 in each corner) using the phillips head.7. Lift off the Air Filter cover and remove the old filter (keep this if it is clean, just in case)8. Place the new filter in and reverse the process.NOTE#####-When replacing everything, be sure to attach the Air Filter sensor or else the car won't start due to it thinking there is something wrong with the Air Intake.-Try to use short screwdrivers as you will need to get your hands around a few objects.-This is an lubricated filter so expect to have some oil on your hands and engine bay.OVERALL#########It may just be me but I have noticed a marginal improvement in economy. There is a noticeable difference in running and idle noise with the K & N fitted to the engine. For that reason alone I would suggest to purchase a k & n for your car, it adds a meatier sound to the engine especially when pulling away from stationary.Overall a good product.NOTE#####When ready to clean you will need to follow the recommended guide, this involves using k&n oil based sprays (sold separately).

Bought this for an upgrade filter for a FORD FIESTA MK7 1.25 PETROL.Was an easy upgrade fitted in minutes, high quality, and definately increases airflow without making the car sound "wompy"Gave a throttle response improvement and combined with a simple silencer back box upgrade it perked up a relatively slow car nicely.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ford fiesta 2011 1.4 tdci - good filter, easy to fit
Fitted to a 1.4 tdci 2011 fiesta. The filter fitted fine but it took a fair bit of research to confirm that it would. In the end I found the Ford part number and then used the cross reference chart on the K&N website. I did not buy this for any performance improvements but for the ease of maintenance and cost savings. Even OEM filters for the car cost around 16 pounds so after just 2 replacements you break even on the cost of this filter. Also the filters are of much better quality and unlikely to fail like the cheaper paper ones. I always fit K&N filters to my bikes and cars for these reasons and have always been happy with them. As to improved fuel consumption and performance these may well improve a bit but only if the original filter wasn't flowing as much air as the car needed. I have noticed a small difference over the OEM filter but very little over the original that was fitted. But this is on a 68hp diesel bought for economy, not performance. So this filter can perk your car up if the original filter was bad or dirty, but its better to think of the main benefits being better quality, longer life and less frequent maintenance. Then any performance improvements are a bonus.

I have used these panel filters on two of my previous cars. They do not give you significant gains in power but they do increase it and reduce fuel consumption.The new panel filter is fitted to a Ford Fiesta ST-2. the installation was quick and easy providing you know what you are doing. as soon as it was fitted and the system bolted back up I noticed a change in the tone of the engine. it was also running smoother and there is less delay in the turbo kicking in.I would absolutely recommend this to anyone as it will improve your fuel economy and give you a little bit more power.

Previously had one of these air filters but appears it got pinched by my mechanical. After feeling like the car was a little down on power on the low end I checked and yep paper air filter was in its place.Does this really make a difference. Not a huge deal but I can notice in the low end where the 1.0 ecoboosts struggle it helps out. The engine also feels like it runs a little smoother. It won't make a difference anywhere else but that low end. Also if you want to hear the engine a slight bit more this can help.This is not a must have item but if you want to squeeze every last drop out of your car without properly modding it, it's worth considering.

En cuanto a desempeño, después de 5000 km, se aprecia una ganancia en el consumo de combustible de 1.5 km/l, siempre tomando en cuenta recorridos de carretera a una velocidad constante.En condiciones de ciudad, difícilmente veras una ganancia, más allá del ahorro qué puede representar la vida útil del filtro.
Filtre à air KN
Filtre réutilisable en permanence, qui permet 1 gain d'environ 4 % de puissance sur le véhicule, en raison de la capacité à augmenter l'appel d'air. Conso, légèrement moindre et plus de souplesse constatée à l'usage. Économie réalisée à terme car le simple nettoyage suffit et non 1 changement comme sur 1 filtre papier.
Ottimo filtro.
Utilizzavo già filtri sportivi da sostituire con gli originali, anche di un’altra marca, ma per la mia Fiesta ST-Line 95cv ho voluto provare questo della K&N. Arriva nella sua confezione imbustato e già oliato, non serve fare altro se non inserirlo nell’alloggio, chiudere e partire. Sfatiamo il mito che fa guadagnare più cavalli, probabilmente non guadagna neanche 1 cavallo, piuttosto consente di far andare meglio il motore, con le giuste accortezze, quindi pulirlo regolarmente e oliarlo con prodotto specifico (per la pulizia va bene lo sgrassatore chanteclaire, lo si spruzza in abbondanza lasciandolo agire anche 15/20 minuti, poi lo si mette ammollo sempre con sgrassatore diluito in acqua e anche del detersivo per lavaggio a mano adatto al cotone e lo si lascia ammollo anche per altra mezz’oretta dopodiché lo si sciacqua davvero per bene per eliminare ogni minimo residuo di detergente, non con getto d’acqua potente e neanche con il soffione doccia, va bene acqua calda corrente con rubinetto dotato di aeratore, far asciugare una intera giornata e infine oleare con olio rosso specifico in maniera omogenea senza esagerare, far riposare anche un po’ in modo che l’olio si distribuisca nel cotone e con della carta assorbente tamponare l’olio in eccesso rimasto sulla maschera metallica che tiene il cotone), piuttosto consente in aspirazione di raccogliere ogni minima particella di sporco migliorandone la capacità di aspirazione per un motore più allegro. Per i patiti del tuning, sconsiglio filtri aperti a cono e doppio cono a meno che non si abbia raggiunto un buon livello di preparazione motore poiché in quel caso si perde parecchio in partenza e ai bassi giri mentre i filtri sostitutivi come questo che vanno nell’alloggio box originale sono davvero un ottimo compromesso per preparazioni basiche per circolare normalmente per strada senza andare ad estremizzare il motore e garantirgli una lunga durata.

Para mi vehiculo una verdadera gozada llevarlo puesto, se nota mucho la ajilidad de entrada del aire al tener pocos ccv, mejorando un poco su rendimiento y escuchando el turbo con mayor silvido,,, deberia estar para toodooos los vehiculos fel mercado y dejarse de los filtros prehistorucos de papel, vale ya tanto papel
Noticeable performance gain
2014 Ford Fiesta SE 1.6, 5 speed. Easy install, half the thickness then the stock paper one. It's already oiled so just drop in.You have to reset your ECU to get any difference from this filter. More air flow needs to be 'learnt' by the computer. Just remove both cables from your battery while you do the filter install, hook up up the battery, start and allow to idle for a couple of minutes, or until the engine speed settles at idle.Quicker pickup, removed a low end splutter on fast take off. Worth the money, without the fact it lasts forever. I haven't measured my milage, so I'll see.Long time K&N filters on motorcycles and never had problems, just clean, oil and drop back in. Always noticed improved performance.
