    • The revolution in the terrarium is there. The bright sun UV lamps has it all: light, heat and UV. Heat and UV a bright sun 70W comparable to that of a 160W UV lamp, the light output is 5 times higher. This is especially important because it has not been possible, the natural light conditions inside a terrarium. In nature, light intensity of 100, 000 lux and more can be achieved. A high light intensity is for the well being straight with desert species of particular importance and influence activity and colours of the animals. While the bright sun 70W comes with over 60, 000 lux at 30 cm is not quite up to the sun, so it is far ahead of UV lamps, fluorescent lamps and incandescent lamps. The basis for this is the high light output efficiency of the lamp.

    A large part of the energy is converted into light, whereas incandescent lamps 95 percent of the energy is converted to heat. Thus the heat of the lights low and use even in small vivariums is possible. An effective reflector almost the entire heat generated is concentrated in the light focus, so that the lamp is quite suitable to create warm sunny places. The spectrum of the lamp is optimized for desert reptiles. Tests have shown that reptiles from desert regions prefer a full spectrum light with a colour temperature of 6000K.

    This is achieved by the bright sun UV desert. Together with the heat and UV radiation and high light intensity, the animals have is practically a small sun in the terrarium. The average life expectancy is about 6000h, however, it is recommended to replace after a year because ver to technological reasons the spectrum of a certain age.

    Ich nutze diese Lampe für meine Wasserschildkröte. Sie liefert meiner Meinung nach das Beste Ergebnis ab. Meine Schildkröte ist auch nicht abgeneigt und liebt es sich darunter zu Sonnen. Der UVA und UVB Anteil der Lampe sind top und die angegebenen Temperaturen zu den angegeben Abständen stimmen auch nahezu überein.

    Al pari delle Solar Raptor , Lucky Reptile è una delle migliori lampade per qualitá e quantitá di luce emessa.Utilizzo la Jungle 50w da 7 anni per la mia Testudo Carbonaria di origine tropicale ( specie che non vá in letargo ) che non ha mai visto la luce del Sole se non per brevissimi periodi in Estate e la crescita e conformazione del carapace è assolutamente perfetta , merito oltre che dell alimentazione anche appunto della lampada che permette la giusta assimilazione e calcificazione.Molto buona anche per la salute e crescita delle piante all interno del terrario.Attenzione alle differenze tra Jungle e Desert a seconda della specie animale che si tiene in terrario perchè IMPORTANTISSIMO cambia lo spettro di luce emessa.Necessita di alimentatore acquistabile separatamente.ATTENZIONE : la lampada dopo un anno va sostituita perchè anche se continua ad emettere luce non produce piu raggi uvb/uva utilissimi alla crescita sana dell animale.

    Didn’t work??? Been over 5 weeks since returned & still no refund or resolution……I’m getting an LED next time so there is not any issue with bulb?

    Ich benutze für meine Taggecko - Terrarien eine Kombination aus 70W FLOOD und 70W Spot Leuchten von Lucky Reptile,welche abwechselnd jährlich ausgetauscht werden.Dadurch habe ich zwar immer ein Leuchtmittel im Terra welches nicht älter als ein Jahr ist (wichtig wegen UVA und UVB Abgabe), aberjede Leuchte an sich ist zwei Jahre im Einsatz.Bis jetzt sind nur wenige Leuchtmittel vor dieser Zeit und noch weniger vor ihrer Normlebensdauer kaputt gegangen und in punkto Lebensdauer und Lichtfarbe (der für uns wahrnehmbare Bereich) hatte ich vor diesen Leuchten nichts vergleichbares (vor allem die Lampen mit integriertem Vorschaltgerät waren der letzte Müll).Ich bleibe dabei und empfehle diese gerne weiter! Meine Tiere fühlen sich sichtlich wohl.PS: Wenn die Leuchte "summt", hat sie keinen richtigen Kontakt zum Sockel. Nochmal raus - und reindrehen hilft idR. und vermeidet einen vorzeitigen Defekt des Leuchtmittels
