5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic boots, so comfortable
I bought these boots as I have been doing a lot of walking recently and wanted something that would be sturdy and waterproof as we head towards winter. I bought a size larger than my usual size, as wearing with thick walking socks. I have to say these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. They haven't given me one blister (which is very unusual, for me). I visited a friend in Scotland and did hours of walking in them. They did not need breaking it at all, just so comfortable right from the start. Highly recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars I FOUND AN OLD FRIEND
Seven years ago I bought a pair of these boots, and enjoyed their sturdy soles that gripped almost any surface well, their light weight and comfortable feeling, to the extent that I seldom was even aware that I had shoes on. I was never once bothered by sore feet, even on my longest trek of 10 hours. My only regret is that the soles parted from the uppers, on both boots at the same time, a few months ago. It seems that the material that enables manufacture of light boots has a limited life span.Through the maker's number on the shoes I was able to find at Bolo the same boot in the same size, and with the same good features. I was delighted to find an old friend! The speed of the delivery astounded me. I placed an order at 21:30 (Tokyo time) on Monday, and had them in hand at 15:00 (Tokyo time) on Wednesday, only a day and a half later, a full week before the estimated time of delivery.
1.0 out of 5 stars Pain
The boots appear to be well constructed and looked great. However, I have had to stop wearing them as ever since I have worn them, I have had pain in my knees and feet. This has stopped since avoiding them. Drs diagnosis states pulled ligaments. They are rather heavy, I must admit - and I must warn people they are NOT WATERPROOF. I wore these on a dog walk on a rainy day in a field and my feet were soaked. The grip is also not brilliant.Such a shame
5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable
I have been walking in these boots for at least three months before I reviewed them and I can say they are very comfortable and completely waterproof. I am very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone in the market for a solid pair of boots
4.0 out of 5 stars High quality hiking boot!
I have had a few pairs of Grisport boots, quite a few work boots and also a couple of pairs of hikers. My last pair recently consigned to the bin were Grisport Fuse. I managed to eek out just under 4 years out of them and only sent them to hiker boot heaven because after a pretty muddy winter I left them wet and soggy under the stairs for a few weeks and when I returned to them the eyelets had rusted very badly damaging the leather underneath. My fault entirely and not a reflection on the boot durability at all.I probably do a couple of trail walks in the week with the dog of a couple of miles and a longer walk at the weekend of up to ten miles in boots, the rest of the time trainers or wellies depending on the weather. So, Grisport Everest, the Good -Build quality appears to be as I've come to expect from Grisport boots, there are no stitching or glue issues you often find on shoes and boots, Grisport have always seemed to have excellent Quality control meaning everything that leaves the factory arrives in perfect condition. The boots are light weight, I haven't weighed them but I sense a reduced weight versus my previous boots most definitely.I'm normally a size 9 in Grisport, these boots are just about right, I would say they feel a smidgeon larger than others but minimally. The lacing system works a treat, no problems getting the laces through any eyelets and the hooks at the tops of the boots are close to the boot which should mean they don't bend out of shape easily or catch on anything.I always swap out manufacturer insoles for something with more cushioning so did the same here putting in some Foot Soother Cushioned insoles I also picked up from Bolo, they are super comfortable. The boots with the insoles and some appropriate socks fit well as said a little tiny bit larger than usual. For me they were comfortable from the get go but then after five or six km they started to feel like the bedding needed breaking in which was a first from Grisport boots I have had. A few yomps later and they didn't cause any issues but something to note there was a period of breaking in.Once settled the boots have been very comfortable, they give excellent traction, I have used them in a variety of conditions, wet and dry and suffered no slippages, the waterproofing is excellent and despite numerous downpours and the occasional dip into streams they haven't let in a drop of water.I picked the Everest style as its a little higher up the leg than the Fuse boot and I was getting lots of mud on pants in the past. This extra coverage has helped and also given me a little more confidence I won't roll my ankle anytime soon.Cleaning the boots is easy, dirt doesn't accumulate too much on the outsole and the leather uppers just need a little water and songe to bring up nice and clean. The could be better -As well as the increased height of the boot I also wanted to try a different outsole pattern, the Fuse boot has the traditional block pattern you see on many other boots so I fancied a change with the more updated tyre like pattern these boots have.Traction as said has been great however at times it feels like when I walk on stones that the outsoles, or possibly the bedding, is a little less densely packed as stones can be felt a bit more keenly. There is a potential I am being super sensitive and the Fuse boots were the same it was almost four years since I had them as new.Don't get me wrong it's not like you are walking barefoot across broken glass but I do think you can feel larger stones on rocky paths a little more.I have walked around a 60 miles or so before writing this review and asides from the short breaking in period and the reduced sole thickness these boots have been great for me. I do think the Fuse are a little better out of the box, however the Everest are light weight with superb traction, potentially the loss of material on the outsoles is a payoff for this reduced weight and also increased flexibility. If you are looking for a well made long lasting pair of boots you know will give you stability on the trails and paths these are a very very good option.Four Stars.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great
As described
5.0 out of 5 stars comfort and value for money
A very good product having used it for 6 months+ very robust and comfortable compared to my previous walking boots which were purchased from a High Street Outdoor shop and after 3 months the sole came away.
2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed 😞
I've worn Grisport boots for years, usually going through 1 pair a year. Have always loved the boots and have never had a problem. Sadly this pair are just not suiting me, on one of the boots, the high ankle is hurting me so much that I don't think I'll be able to wear them again. I've tried them for a full day then had a break for a couple of days to let my ankle recover before trying them again. I don't believe it's a breaking in issue as I've never had to do that with them before and it's just this one bit on one boot. Unfortunately I can not recommend this time 😞

Veramente soddisfatto
