About this item:
Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiparasitic and Antiseborrheic Medicated Shampoo for Dogs is an effective and affordable treatment for skin scaling caused by seborrhea, mange and other parasitic infections, and fungal infections. With an easy treatment regimen of shampooing 2-3 times per week initially and then less frequently as skin improves, you can give your pet relief from symptoms including an inflamed scalp, greasy skin, rashes, and scaly skin similar to dandruff that are caused by seborrhea (most commonly caused by bacterial or yeast infections). The veterinary-grade ingredients in our topical bottle of antiseborrheic and antiparasitic shampoo for dogs help treat, hydrate and relieve multiple skin conditions such as seborrhea, mange, parasitic and bacterial infections. Powerful ingredients like salicylic acid, coal tar and micronized sulfur help treat the condition, while colloidal oatmeal and allantoin hydrates skin and promotes healing. You can also use this antiparasitic mange shampoo for dogs with other topical spot-on flea and tick treatments. Great for pets with allergy-prone and yeasty skin! We know that your dogs are more than just pets - they are part of the family - so Veterinary Formula Clinical Care designs premium medicated products that pet parents can actually afford. Your dog will feel fast acting relief from skin infections and you’ll notice that your dog’s skin is calmer, less inflamed and the itching is controlled – making you both happy and able to focus on more important things like walks, fetch and snuggles. It’s important to determine the cause of the underlying issue, so please consult your veterinarian if skin issues become a consistent problem. Due to the coal tar content of this shampoo, we do not recommend its use on cats.

Okay - after weeks of having itchy dogs and knowing it was mites and trying so many other products mostly because I hate chemicals so I was looking for natural or going by recommendations such as diatomaceous earth - I have learnt from this and what I’ve mainly learnt is never to skimp! (But at the same time you don’t necessarily have to spend the exorbitant fees a Vet will charge you - which in my opinion is just a joke and mostly based around the expense of their pharmaceutical drugs!)Well two of my three dogs had mites - itching and losing hair with scabby skin following (plus bald / thin patches). It was really distressing me to witness this I was at my wits end.I had loads of really good suggestions and most of my friends thought it was fleas - it wasn’t tho and I would’ve known if it was - I’ve had animals all my life there was just no signs: no flea dirt, nothing and no bites so I went with my gut opinion (mites)I got nexguard from the vets which they said would work and it didn’t do a single thing! (£70 down)..I used a particular herbal shampoo with my dogs and that definitely helped but just a few days later it kicked off again...Dietomaceous Earth seems to soothe but didn’t cure I’m afraid to say and it leaves your room as if you’re living on the moon with a fine white film over absolutely everything which was a bit of a nightmare!! Plus With all the itching they were doing there was hair all over the place as well so I’ve had to really keep on top of thingsAnd then even my third dog yo-yo started getting attacked urgh (That’s a photo of him there finally at peace with no itching)I really researched it and this is the Shampoo I now recommendIts definitely stopped the itching dead in its tracksI’m going to use it again, as directed, in a few days time, I’ve also washed everything connected to my dogs at 60° and hoovered thoroughly! it’s not cheap (£29.99), but it seems to be effective and at the same time doesn’t have dangerous ingredients (although not herbal either)it’s good for parasitic and fungal infections it also promotes healing! They feel super soft and clean! Smell good too!So good to find this - a few of my pals had had problems which seem to be long-term and this seems to have stopped it dead in its tracks but reading the very positive reviews - no harmful side-effects (or very rare).Surprisingly you don’t always come up with these things when you first search - quite often you have to read through forums to find what is highly recommended (and then you can find them!).Right now all three dogs are asleep on the settee after a nice long walk - with not a sign of an itch I can’t tell you how good this feels! all I’ve got to do now is wait for their hair to grow back in the little patches that came up! A WINNER!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant product
After several weeks and several different flea/mite shampoos and treatments, we finally came across this treatment. Wish we'd have came across it earlier! Our little cavapoo ( and us)were being driven crazy with constant scratching, her fur was becoming sparse on her rump and hind legs and she was now getting little scabs from scratching. After one treatment ,where she shivered pitifully whilst I masssged her for 15 minutes, the result was great, giving us all a good sleep. Gave her a repeated second treatment, and I highly recommend this product. I shall complete her third shampoo in a week as it states ,however she seems cured of whatever it was . I did also Google could I put some sudocrem on her little scratches, and Google said it was fine to use on dogs SPARINGLY. The sudocrem has practically healed her little scratches. We can already see her bald patches are regrowing, she's back to being her happy self, and I'm sure the person who lives beneath us is happy the constant thumping of her itching has stopped.
4.0 out of 5 stars smells bad but seems to be working
shampoo has left a very chemical smell on my dog but it seems to be working and she has stopped scratching as much. Easy to apply and bottle has flip up bit which makes it easy to open close and apply. This has to be left on for ten minutes and my dog wasnt very impressed with this but a few treats solved it but she is very well behaved I know my old dog would of wrecked the bathroom if He had to stand in the shower wet for that long.
5.0 out of 5 stars My go to for itchy/smelly dogs
This seems to really help with seasonal itching and any other mysterious itching my chihuahuas have.I also love that this is the only shampoo that doesn't leave my dogs smelling like a wet perm. They just smell lovely and clean and seem really relaxed after a bath.
3.0 out of 5 stars Didn’t really do anything
I decided to try this for my dog as been itching and her skin is sore but it didn’t really make much difference so switched back to old shampoo
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic product 5*
My dog suddenly had flaking dandruff, it was absolutely awful and I tried several things which failed to work. After only 1 wash with this, the issue went completely. I have washed him now 3x and 3 weeks have elapsed since the last wash and absolutely no signs of any dandruff returning. His coat has never looked so good, shiny and glossy and everyone he comes into contact with comments on his coat. Fantastic product and well worth the money 5*

Best shampoo for my dog I have used. Got rid of her itchy skin fast
4.0 out of 5 stars Seems to be working so far
So after many many shampoos, I ended up with this one. It had to be mange. She's being bathed in it every other day. I massage in for 15 mins, which she hates :) She's had 5 baths in it so far. The hair loss has slowed down significantly. The scabs have gone. Her skin is still red, but she isn't scratching biting and licking like she was. It has calmed her down. It feels like it is under control. Am still washing all her bedding 2x a week. Am washing her towels on a boil wash after every use. Am also vacuuming every other day too. Also cleaning out the vac and washing the cylinder after every vac. If you suspect mange and cannot afford a vet visit, get this one. Be religious in your treatment and fingers crossed you too will turn the corner. Fingers crossed for us.
Finally something to help with our GSD's atopic dermatitis, seborrhea, and out-of-control yeast!!
We have a GSD who has had skin issues starting after puberty around ~2 years old, and the only thing that helps keep her comfortable in the Midwest's awful mold/spore/allergy seasons (spring, summer, fall) is a weekly bath. We've tried OTC meds, prescription meds, shots, special diets - EVERYTHING and nothing seemed to help. We started doing weekly baths (once every two weeks in the dead of winter) with this specific shampoo and are so impressed! Her skin is no longer red and irritated, it helps keep her oily skin and coat at bay, and she's not up half the night itching like before! We have even tried every combination of prescription shampoo, OTC shampoo and even other ones from this brand - and this one is hands down the best. The smell isn't our favorite (tar-y smell to it a little) but it mostly goes away after a day or two. Our dog is so much happier with clean skin, knows our bathing routine so makes it easy on us, and after we let the shampoo sit on her skin/coat for a minimum of 15 minutes, we are set for 7-10 days of a shiny coat, soft skin and no dermatitis! This shampoo has saved us from constantly going to the vet for treatments and further expenses. It took us a long time to finally land on a product that works well for our dog's skin and is cost effective. My local Walmart carries this shampoo as well, so in a pinch I have it no problem - but if your dog is running into similar issues, try this out and develop a good bathing/shampooing regimen for your dog! The trick is to definitely let the shampoo sit on the skin for a minimum 10 minutes and as an added bonus, wash their fur/hair/skin with a mild shampoo beforehand, so the "medication" portion of this shampoo can do it's job directly at the source - on the skin. We also dilute the shampoo, roughly 2-3 tablespoons for 16 ounces warm water (add water first, then shampoo to not create suds) and use THAT to shampoo our pup. It works great, ensures that all the remaining shampoo is rinsed off at the end, and you don't "overdue" it with the shampoo and waste any. Happy bathing!

Prodotto consigliato!
I've tried a handful of others that did not work.
The media could not be loaded. The best thing about SynergyLabs, for me and my Miniature Schnauzer, is their formulation. Billy Jr. has (like nearly all Schnauzers) Schnauzer Comedo Syndrome. These are little genetic-derived pimples (non-infectious or life-threatening...think, adolescent acne). Oddly enough, they don't have a remedy or cure for it. However, I think the tar inside of SynergyLabs shampoo keeps the syndrome manageable.Previously, I only used to bathe Billy, 1x every 2-3 weeks, as they advise online. That doesn't work for Schnauzers. The Miniature Schnauzer has a double coat'” a wiry topcoat, with a soft undercoat'” that requires frequent brushing, combing, and grooming to look its best. The breed sheds very little. For the show ring, some of the dog's coat is regularly 'stripped' by hand. So, bathing that little is like humans washing their hair 1x per 3-weeks. Yuk! The oil that builds up is the same in Billy Jr. That's why this shampoo, bathed 1-2x per week keeps everything under control.I've tried other shampoos (without the formulation SynLabs has) and it wasn't effective. That's why this is our second purchase.I can't say enough about how happy this Mini' dad is.
