I watch a lot of cooking programmes and these are always on there so I was like I need one - the glass is very thick and sturdy and the lid was added bonus - mine fits fine but I think if you put in the dishwasher that could stop it fitting - I use it all the time now and just a great size too. If you’re pondering, just get it! :)

I have had so many measuring jugs where the markings wear off over time, or you can't see them once they have liquid in, or they steam up when used for hot liquid. This is a refreshing change. It is a bit pricy but I think it's worth every penny!

I like the durability of the item and its clear, clean-lines glass, with NO painted-on measuring capacity numbers and letters on the item at all - they are purely -in-built- on the glassware itself and so much better than painted-on measuring stats.I use the measuring jug to measure milk and other liquids for my home-baking and the 3-lipped pouring rim is very useful in that I can pour from whichever angle I pick up the measuring jug from my work counter. This is a very neat and useful piece of glassware design and manufacturing from Anchor Hocking. Another significant USA production, which in itself represents the flair and innovation of USA thinking, design and manufacture. All good.

Took a while to arrive over xmas and Brexit. Arrived in minimal but appropriate packaging. to be gifted as friend liked mine and tends to work in cups and oz not mls like me. So satisfies all needs. Easy to measure and wash. cant use it in microwave.

Great item. I'm with Slimming World at the moment so got this to put my daily allowance of milk into and it's really handy. It would have a 5 star rating however the lid isn't a great fit. That's ok as it stays in the fridge however, it wouldn't transport anywhere.

Good quality and exactly what I needed. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. The lid just covers the top of the measuring glass which is exactly what I needed to cover my milk in the fridge. The lid is not air tight but perfect for my needs.
Numbers are etched and glass thick.
I ordered this for my friend. I already have one and love mine. The numbers are etched on the glass, so cannot be washed off. Glass is thick and good quality. The only thing for me is the lid does not stay on due to the round corners on the top. I don't use the lid, but it cost the same with or without it, so I got it just in case my friend wanted it. If you are looking for the lid to stay on this one is not for you. Otherwise it is an awesome measuring cup.

My favourite measuring cup
I love this measure. Because the gradations are embossed and not printed on, they will never wear out. Mine came with a lid. The lid does not snap on so it just falls off. Fortunately, I bought it for its measuring capability and not as a storage container. I will buy one for each of my (adult) kids later in the year for their Christmas stockings. I’m wishing that Anchor made a 2-cup measure to match.

Really great set
These are exactly everything that I wanted. The set is great and is everything that I needed, although I did get it on sale for $12. These measuring cups frequently go on sale and I would recommend waiting for when the price goes to $12 or below because then otherwise, they are not as worth it. They are sturdy and the marks are solid. I love these so much.
