I made the mistake of buying a small pot of gochujang from a supermarket and whilst it was good it wasn't worth the price. This is great for the price and I'm so glad to have in my cupboard. I've made so many tasty meals and all my family have enjoyed them.

First time ever that I bought Gochujang paste, and I am delighted with this product. I needed it for a Korean noodle recipe. Delicious! This paste is spicy but not too hot and has a very lovely savory and sweet taste, but not too sweet and not too salty. I have been using it with lots of other food now, including with cheddar and gouda cheese on fresh bread. Yummeeeh!The reason why I only give 4 stars: the packaging was not ideal and the plastic lid was cracked during transport. Fortunately the plastic had not completely pierced the tin foil cover, I was happy with the safety of the product (no contamination) and I did not feel the need to send it back to the seller. I repaired the crack with some superglue.I will buy this product again because it tastes so good, and hope that next time it will arrive undamaged.

Yummy and Spicy!
I'm pleasantly surprised by the flavor of this Gochujang. It's delicious and quite spicy! Not to much though. If you enjoy the heat of Huy Fong Siracha this will suit you. I like to mix it 50/50 with miso paste for a cup of spicey broth. Hits the spot for a quick hunger fix. Good with noodles too. I occasionally add a spoonfull of peanut butter too. Looking forward to creating some sauces with it for stir fried veggies.
Great taste, great value
I love cooking with this pepper paste. It is the perfect amount of spicy and has a little bit of a sweet after taste too. It's one of my favorites! I like the large tub as it lasts for about a year. I just bought my second one as my first ran out.
