4.0 out of 5 stars Time saver
As I have got older ,trying to thread a needle has become not only harder but a time consuming pain. Now I don't do a lot of needle work just the odd repair here and there but without these threading a needle takes three to four times longer than the repair. These gems make what to me and my poor eyes seem like a nightmare a doodle. my only criticism of these and it doesn't make a difference who the manufacturer is they are never strong enough and for me tend to break after a few uses.
5.0 out of 5 stars What a simple solution
These things are a blessing now my eyesight is not as good as it was. Threading a needle takes second instead of frustrating minutes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Standard light metal and wire threaders
This is a set of three standard embossed aluminium and fine wire needle threaders, in a design that hasn’t changed in over a century. For anyone who doesn’t know how to use one of these, the procedure is as follows.1. Push the “point” of the fine wire “diamond” through the eye of the needle, so that it opens out again, and forms a wire eye2. Pass your sewing thread through this large wire eye.3. Pull the wire eye back out through the eye of the needle.4. The thread will have been pulled through the eye of the needle. Continue pulling the thread through the eye , until you have the desired length ready to knot or otherwise use. The threader simply slides off the end of the thread. All of my threaders are still intact, but what does tend to happen is that the wire slides out of the tear-drop shaped “holder “. It’s not usually possible to slide it back in, it’s just too likely to bend.Hope this helps someone!Edit… I’ve just bought these again, and they are better than the previous purchase. They are larger, sturdier, and now come with instructions. I’ve photographed these for reference.
