I chose them for their health benefits but was very pleasantly surprised by how tasty they are. I love their texture, too, and have made a perfect addition to my breakfasts. I had tried hulled help seeds in the past but didn’t like them at all. These are great. Biona has always been one of my go-to brands for quality organic food products, so I’m happy to have found these hemp seeds.

The product itself is fabulous. The hemp seeds are crisp and delicious and exactly as described. Delicious as a salad topper or blended up in a shake (however they never fully blend but I quite like that!)Slightly annoying that it comes in 2 250g bags instead of one. Better value and comparable product to others on Bolo.

It's fresh and good quality, it's great for making a protein powder. I throw them on the power blender and in seconds they break, so I tend to consume it on my porridge.

As in the title, these hemp seeds are delicious but dangerous. In theory they are very beneficial for your health and give a really nutty flavour when boiled but I've often found that because the solid outer shell is so stubborn that it is harsh on the digestive system and gives me gut ache. I think this is also due to the fact that my body in the last 2 or 3 months has got used to consuming GOOD HEMP PROTEIN POWDER which is obviously far better for the digestive system as it is in powder form and goes well mixed with water despite the taste. Even rinsing and soaking the seeds over night and then boiling them with organic long grain rice or Quinoa, I still get gut ache. I've particularly had it bad lately so have decided to throw the remaining seeds away and now concentrate on the hemp protein powder which is easily digestible and helps give me a great nights sleep.No more harsh hemp seeds ever again!Hooray!!!

For years I have bought Hemp seed from a pet store where they are sold as fishing bait. They are generally of low quality but loved by finches. These are really a different class and consumption has increased dramatically. I have tried nibbling a few myself but I am happy to leave them for the birds. Incidentally, these are excellent value compared to others in the market.
Highly recommend!

Arrived from England,, Originated in China....
As per my earlier question,,the package. bears EU markings for Organic produce,, also shows country of origin as China.There's definitely more of a brown tone than green, which I'm told shows proper maturity for sprouting and growing.Germinating, in wet cloths between 2 plates,, very good, I'd estimate 50% were sprouting after 24hrs, and they seem to be growing well in potting soil. Coudn't ask for more!Hemp will save the planet! <;~]
