5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant - simple but they work!
I was a bit sceptical about these as the price was 'cheap' BUT it had the Lazer name to it, so it must be good? - Well, yes they turned out to be brilliant! - and with Bolo again, they seem to arrive before I ordered 'em (!) and within the hour of unpacking them, they were in use, did the job very well, quick and very worth the money, in fact a gift considering what a friend of mine brought an 'iffy' branded pair a couple of years ago at twice the price(!) and they left a lot to be desired..I would recommend these to anyone, or at least to anybody who KNOWS how to use them to be fair, requiring a well made tool that works, does the job as required and a decent price.Okay, that's it, what are you waiting for? - off you go! - order a pair now and you won't regret it..

These are the bare minimum tool for compressing a spring, they won't fit into tight areas notably on rear suspension, are awkward on front coils too. Space is tight on most cars and this type of compressor can slip off easily and kead to a visit to A&E so be careful. OK for use if no other alternative.
4.0 out of 5 stars No good for Renault Megane MKII
I purchased these in order to change a broken coil spring on my Renault Megane MKII, I must say they're very robust and nicely engineered but they're too short to fully compress Megane coil springs.
5.0 out of 5 stars Grat tool, really handy.
Really good quality and the price was surprisingly low. It is doing its job swiftly. Although it is a little bit tricky to use it with some french cars coil springs like Renault 21 (as the have bigger diameter in the middle). But i guess it was not specially designed to this purpose.
