5.0 out of 5 stars Suprisingly good warm wax, from a professional view.
This is a five star product, forget the other reviews. I have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years so I have been using Warm Wax, professionally for long enough to know what I am talking about. I bought this product because I did not have time to pop to my local distributer and needed the wax for the next day. I read the reviews, including all the one star reviews and I have to admit I did wonder if I was doing the right thing, but seeing as it was an emergency I went for it, especially as it was being delivered on Bolo Prime.Honestly forget the low star ratings and take it from someone who knows what they are talking about, this is a decent wax! It is everything I would expect from gold warm wax. It has a slight rose fragrance and when heated it applies really nicely. It holds the heat well and melts at a good temperature, which was suprisingly quick too. As with every wax you get tiny spots of residue, but nothing that I would not expect and certainly not like the one star rating reviews I have read (did they actually heat the wax correctly, I wonder?). No it does not have instructions on the tub, but it supposed to be a "professional" product so it does not really suprise me.NOTE: This product is to be used with a wax pot heater. Don't make the mistake of thinking it is like the shop bought products that you can heat up in the microwave and then use straight from the tub.TO GET THE WAX OUT OF THE TUB INTO YOUR WAX HEATER:To get the wax out the tub I popped it into a microwave, still in the plastic tub. With the professional wax I normally use the tub can tolerate under 5 mins and will then easily pour into the wax heater but seeing as I was not sure about the plastic container I used an old bowl, which is a good thing as it didn't take microwaving that great. (I have had it happen before and ended up with a molten wax pot and hot wax pouring out the microwave, hence the use of the bowl). So I would recommend either using a ban marie (a bowl of bowling water) making sure you have the lid tightly on, so no water mixes inside, but it melts just enough to soften the edges so it can then be poured in a lump into the heater OR tipping the wax upside down over your wax pot, whilst cold, and leaving it overnight to pour into the heater. This can leave wax behind in the tub, so you do waste a little but at least you have non sticky hands. If you are not used to home waxing, don't bother get a professional to do it. Its messy, smells and you will no doubt spill some on your carpet or clothes. If you do have a wax pot at home, ignore the bad reviews and go for it. I would actually buy the product again as when I used it for a full leg wax, face and bikini area on a client, it worked really well. Even on the eyebrows, it came off the skin nicely. So far it seems a gentle product because of the added rose oil and doesn't irritate the skin.It is worthy of five stars.
5.0 out of 5 stars A little too sticky but great for hair removal
I'm a professional beautician and have used a number of wax and I can tell you that this is a great wax and if melted properly (I use wax heater) then it spreads smoothly and comes out of so easily without leaving a single hair behind. But it's STICKY like very sticky so before wild like to give a tip that before you even open the tub put a little bit of oil (I used baby oil) on your hands so it doesn't stick to your hands as this wax doesn't wash off easily. And once finished using apply oil on the area your waxed and even.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great
Very good better then the last one I brought from different seller which burnt me caused my skin become even darker and I strongly believe that it was mix with something.About this wax, I got very sensitive skin and this was very good on my skin didn't burn and will work when u apply thin layer and u must not allow the wax to build on the wax strip and this will not grib the hair always use a new strip after two uses. And I have coarse hair. So.. When u apply the wax u need place apply pressure and followed by rubbing the top of the wax strip this will heat the wax and grip the coarse hair area of the body. , I have this in bikini area and had no problem. This really base on how u apply the wax and how much wax u have applied and the temperature of the wax and all basic.U must allow the wax to completely heat very well. Otherwise it will not remove the hair. The wax is sticky but it does the job and keep skin smooth.. Just make sure u protect your flooring.Im happy with this will order again.
3.0 out of 5 stars Okay but VERY sticky and leaves residue!
This product essentially does the job if you heat it very well and only apply thin layers - DO NOT use fabric strips, use paper strips otherwise you'll have a hard time cleaning up.This product is extremely sticky and if it gets ANYWHERE, you need to clean that with oil. I regularly have to do two rounds of olive oil rubbing all over the waxed areas and anywhere the wax touched in order to remove sticky residue. Hence my recommendation to do thin layers of wax, otherwise you'll be there for hours scrubbing it off with oil.BEWARE: This product for some reason can pull off your skin! It pulled off the skin on my arms and left scars, therefore I will not be repeating that. It was fine on my legs, but make sure you are extra careful around curved places like the knee, etc, I have had serious bruising due to how sticky the product is that it simply pulls and does not come off.
