When I was younger...almost 40 years ago I remember having a "toy day'...where we would bring our toys from home to play with. There was a little girl who brought her toy record player, exactly like this one but much bigger and sturdier. Oh how I envied her! I wanted one too. Never got one but when I saw this I had to buy it for my grandson for Christmas!! Memories!

My two yr old Granddaughter loves playing with this. It's easy to use, sturdy and the sound quality is clear. She recognises all the nursery rhymes on the double sided discs. A truly great product!

This product was unavailable in toy stores. My children had one and I was looking for it. I was delighted to find it on Bolo. It has 5 records (10 songs) easily manipulated by my 2 year old grandson. Brings back memories!

This classic toy brings back my adult children's child hood playtime. I have bought 2 of these fornthe Grandkids and they love then. Colourful, nostalgic , easy to clean, and great sounds on the records. The best toy for decades

Brilliant toy. My children had one and I bought this for my grandson. We sing along to the tunes with each other. Fisher price well done for still producing these timeless toys

Looking at the top of the toy, it looks as sturdy as the original toy. It’s not. The flap closing the storage place for the discs is flimsy and I can see any child removing that in five minutes. Why batteries? Half the fun was winding it up to make the music! Why make the arm so stiff to move? Adult assistance is going to be needed here, for sure. On the plus side, the discs are plentiful and the tunes are lovely. They are better when they stop because they go on and on and on and…. The volume control is great but most toddlers have the attention span of a gnat if they can’t stop and start a tune at will. In short, I regret buying this. Fisher-Price, dig out the old specs. and make future ones according to the tested and true version. I’ve fortunately been able to source a vintage one which is still going as new despite its age and that speaks for itself.

The media could not be loaded. I love the colors and overall appearance of this! The sound quality is great, it’s extremely easy to use (my 3 year old is struggling a bit — but it’s only been one day). It’s not huge and doesn’t take up a lot of space, so it’s a lovely item / toy (and would be perfect as a gift for a kid of ANY age in my opinion). I love this thing.It seems very well made, and seems like it’s going to be durable. I’ll update my review as time goes on if anything negative happens. So far, I’m so happy we bought it! My 7 year old is non-verbal and he seems pretty interested in it as well, so I think it’s definitely going to create many family bonding moments.*you will need 3 AAA batteries, they are not included.*you have to wind it up to make it spin - but that’s part of the fun, in my opinion. It’s super easy to use.*there’s a hidden compartment that holds all of the records, and each record has 2 songs on it!(one on the front and one on the back)*it also has TWO volume settings (on the bottom of the machine). It gets pretty loud on the second volume setting. The first volume setting is perfect and so far - zero headaches for this momma!:) win for everyone!
Son loves record players, music and spinning things!
The media could not be loaded. This was a perfect Christmas gift for my little guy. My husband has a record player and a collection of records and my son loves to watch him put the record on and listen. So when I found this it was a match made!First thing, it comes with a good number is little “vinyls” (each are labelled with what song is on them and 1 has 2 sides of music) but when you put the record on and move the needle toPlay, it doesn’t play off the vinyl. It’s just like a recording in the player itself and it must push some kind of mechanism to read the little vinyl. Once you wanna play the tune the “needle” needs to be on the record and then turn the nob at the bottom and you’re good to go!Plays cute little music, my son definitely loves it.Also really impressed with the record/vinyl storage in the back, perfect as i hate when everything is scattered all over.Keeps everhthing in one place 👍🏼
Not good
These used to be analog like a music box with little springs. Now it's digital, which completely ruins the experience.

J'en ai eu un quand j étais petite.Cette version n'est pas similaire.Les plastiques sont très fragiles et le fonctionnement est différent.A l'époque, il ne fallait pas de pile. On remontait le mécanisme et le tourne disque se mettait en route.Ici il y a un mécanisme pour faire tourner le tourne disque mais cela ne sert à rien.En effet, le son ne provient plus du bras (via le mécanisme qui entrait en contact avec les irrégularités du disque) mais provient d un enregistrement à l intérieur du boîtier. Le son est différent. Pas top
