Product is good and my son who is basketball mad was well pleased with it. It assembled easy and is sturdy enough even when used outside. It could have come with a bag to store it in as we now have to store it in the box which isn’t great.

The poles are so flimsy, but at this price you wonder why? A stronger pole would seem much better, last much longer, and only cost about 50p more to manufacture.A lot of customers have already reported difficulty inserting the base pole into the weighted base, and we had the same problem. Initially assumed that there was a connector missing. In fact its just incredibly tight. We sprayed the plastic tube with a silicon lubricant first, still didn't work. Then we used the metal ground stake, placed on the upper end of the base pole, as a tool to help push the base pole down into the base, spreading the load . This helped us exert much more force downwards without causing any damage.Daughter very happy with using the product, just shame about the flimsy construction, and concerned about how long this will last.

This WORKS!
This is an essential basketball training tool, especially for training shooting. First time using it, players will be really affected by the Dummy Defender and will tend to step back and shoot further away. After some practice, they learn to ignore the Dummy Defender and are able to shoot with the Dummy Defender set up closer and closer to them. This transfers fantastically into real game play as players learn to ignore a defender charging at them and focus only on the rim. This translates to much higher game shot percentage as well as more shooting opportunities (players willing to shoot and shoot confidently where before training with the Dummy Defender, they would have concluded the (real / human) defender is too close for them to get a shot off).
