5.0 out of 5 stars Works wonders.
If you can't seem to get the pesky habit of pulling on the lead out of your dog this does the job. Good quality. Works great to keep your pooch controlled in busy spaces.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product
I am so pleased with this head collar. I have a staffie with quite a broad nose, I ordered a large, I’ve tried a couple of different head collar’s but they pinch her nose. This fits beautifully and she doesn’t pull at all on the lead! I would highly recommend this product.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good Nose harness
Is the best one I've found so far ,but metal clip has snapped already. This is the issue with most of these nose harness with strong big dogs. How ever it is the best one I've had so far which does work great love the clasp that slides up works much better than the clip ones.My dog on this nose harness tugs less and I'm in control.
3.0 out of 5 stars Dog hated it
Dog hated it and scratched it off in seconds. Not for me I'm afraid but seems well made if you can get on with it
5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer !
I don’t often leave reviews, and I’m also very honest if I do leave a review.I have a one year four month old, very bouncy STRONG Labrador… I have spent …wasted should I say a lot of money on different leads such as a regular lead , extendable lead, harness- which is a no go. If your dog is a Puller do not buy a harness! as it becomes a game of tug-of-war. I also bought a slip lead which was useless. Then I bought this and my goodness this has honestly taken the stress out of walking, my pulling Dog. My dog has been pulling me to the ground causing me injury and of course embarrassment. And she even gallops on a lead mid air when she saw another dog and made our walks very very stressful at the least.I spent money on Dog trainers which helped for five minutes. She is just an excitable girl which was out of control on her walks. She would see a leaf and gallop, a feather, bird and so on.I then went to the vets for a different reason and actually saw a lady with her big beefy Shall I say and strong, male, Labrador, who was wearing one of these leads, and it was her that I asked for her views on using One . she highly recommended and so I thought why not I’ll give it a go.I’ll be honest my Labrador wasn’t a huge fan when I first put it on her, as she was using her, paw to try and take it off, but I expected this as it was probably a odd feeling to her, however, with lots of praise and encouragement on her walk, she no longer does this and walks by my side perfectly EVERY time I walk her now, she has gotten used to this lead. It does NOT cause pain on the dog in anyway whatsoever and it’s honestly the best thing that I have bought in a long time! I am no longer pulled to the ground or dragged around on a dog walk. I would most definitely highly recommend this type of lead if your dog pulls!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Best headcollar I've tried but questionable sizing
I really like these headcollars. They seem to be more comfortable for the dogs than others (they don't tighten on muzzle and they don't ride into their eyes) while still working to stop pulling. With these on both of my dogs, I feel confident walking nearly 50 kg of dog and not getting pulled in the direction of the nearest squirrel. The only thing is I'm not convinced by the sizes of head collars. I ordered a size medium for my 30kg GSD X Northern inuit. There's no size guide on Bolo but elsewhere it suggests the following sizes (see bottom of review). Which would mean a L or XL for this dog. I have previously had a HALTI in size medium (halti size 2) for this dog so I wasn't convinced as the head of a Labrador is much larger than the head of a GSD even for the same weight. In the end I decided to go for the medium again, and it fits perfectly. I used the HALTI neck size guide to guess the size of our 18kg rescue dog which was a small (halti size 1), and again it fits perfectly. This possibly isn't the best size guide as it's for a different product and the important size is the muzzle not the neck but for me, it's much better than the Ancol sizing.I've attached pictures of the 18kg rescue in both small and large head collars. Her muzzle is 20 cm with her mouth closed. The small head collar is up to 26 cm which gives her room to open her mouth with no problems. The medium head collar is 33 cm round the muzzle. The back of this collar can tighten to her head size, and the little leather tab can reduce the muzzle size so it fits. But you can see how much closer it is to her eyes, if she were to pull away, the head collar twists round and the strap irritates her eyes.Ancol sizing on another website:Size Weight of Dog Example BreedsSmall (1-2) 1 - 10kg Cairn Terrier, Daschhund, Fox TerrierMedium (3-4) 10 - 20kg Beagle, Spaniel, CollieLarge (5-6) 20 - 30kg Basset, Afghan, AiredaleExtra Large (7-9) Over 30kg Boxer, Dalmatian, Retriever, LabradorMy suggested sizing:Small (26 cm max) - possibly 21 cm max dog muzzle to allow for opening of mouthMedium (33 cm max) - possibly 28 cm max dog muzzle to allow for opening of mouth
1.0 out of 5 stars Not helpful at all. Poorly made.
Doesn't stay on. The material it is made from causes it to loosen easy then it just slides of dogs nose. This happens out walking my dog loves it as he can the yank my arm so I lung forward and nearly fall over. Not helpful at all.I bought this 6 August and the clip has already broken.
5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely halti
Lovely halti, bought two now
Super efficace bon produit
Bien pour les promenades obéissance arrêt
Works as intended
Works as intended. I have a 6 month old Great Dane mix and got the large. Fits well and prevents him from tugging on walks and helps me control him when he lunges at bunnies and squirrels.
Stops pulling immediately.
this is an AMAZING product! I couldn't take Dog, Juice for a walk without it, as he was SUCH a puller (with Reactivity issues) this is going to change my relationship with him for sure! I AM SO HAPPPYYYYY <3 our first time out, we were even approached by an unleashed (no owner in site... escaped?) dog and I was able to control him with relative ease.#Bolo ... also, in another review, it mentions the clasp on the collar end of the device is too small - I simply removed the small clasp and the cord it's attached to (its removable) and clipped my leash right onto the ring of the collar device.
Gute Hilfe beim Training
Hat uns beim Training sehr geholfen.Man kann den Hund sehr gut händeln.Gute Verarbeitung und absolut zu empfehlen
Bakwaas
Useless.,.....Dog has to be trained to use it. ....and irony is if the dog is trained then u don't need to have it......it is a trauma for the dog about if you force him to wear it.....he will keep trying to remove it with his paws rather than taking a walk with u .
