Ordered for a friend with a limited space to dry clothes. This is tall enough to hang a variety of garments and has enough shelves and bars to accommodate what I'd call an average wash for one person. It's easy to open to its full position and even when full it is sufficiently robust that you can lift and re-locate it with ease. It's not on casters though so don't try to just swizz it round by one corner. It doesn't have a large footprint so it's easy to pop by an open patio door or a radiator without becoming a nuisance. When not in use it folds up on itself so it can be stored in a smaller space. As with other Minky products, this is well-designed and finished and, used properly, should last a good long time. If you need drying space for a family-worth of wet washing this probably isn't sufficient but for one or two people, especially where space is limited, this is well-priced and an excellent choice.

I was pleased to see that this heavy Minky clothes airer does not fall over on the balcony. Of course, I would not put it out when gales are blowing. It has sufficient space for my wash load and is very easy to put up. I had to look at the diagram, first time to dismantle. Compact space when folded. Can be brought indoors without problems. Great item that make washdays a lot more easier and nearly enjoyable!

This was bought to replace the previous and quite similar Minky clothes airer, which was the standard model (as opposed to this "Plus" version).The basic frame and the folding and fastening mechanisms appear to be the same, however this one adds some useful flip out hooks on each of the top corners (see photo), from which you can hang a single garment or up to three garments on hangers. Whilst this extra hanging space is useful, there are a couple of flaws here... First of all, the way that the blue corner hooks stick out makes it very easy to snag yourself on them as you are walking past the airer, which can be annoying and a little painful. Also, when they are folded in, they are quite difficult to open out again, as there is not any kind of tab to get hold of, i.e., the blue section folds in and fits very snugly into the black plastic retainer, so snugly that if you want to unfold it again you really have to get your fingernails involved to get it open.Another slight flaw in the design (which I have again tried to show in the photos) is the blue plastic part which comes out of the swivel joint and inserts into the metal tubular frame parts. This is exactly the same as my previous model, on which this plastic part eventually snapped. To be fair it gave a few years of service, so you can't mark it down too much, but be aware that (like most things which have an element of plastic construction) it will eventually fail.On the plus side, the airer can hold quite a lot of laundry and does not take up much room for the amount with which you can load it up. The side hooks make this model extra capacious, although that extra weight may have the potential to shorten the life of the frame.Another positive is that neither this or my previous Minky showed any signs of corrosion.All in all, not perfect, but a good performer and will probably last an adequate length of time to make it worth the money.

I had to write a review because there seemed to be so many more negative than positive reviews about it that I almost didn’t purchase it - but out of the others on here I think I made the right choice!My washing line broke and needs a new post so I decided an airer was needed as I love to put clothes outside to dry in the sun.It’s so easy to stand it up and I can do it with one hand. It is light but strong and stays up securely and has good clips to keep it stable.It is ideal for inside or outside and has plenty of space and strong enough for drying a whole load of washing too!I love the brushed chrome look of the bars and the blue hanger clips are a great addition as you can also use them to secure the edges of drying items too!I’m very pleased with my purchase. It folds down to a neat and compact size that’s easy to store away too! Highly recommend!

Box was a little damaged buy product was fine.. big enough for lots of washing, even sheets. Non-slip rails were good and loved the corners for clothes on hangers. It's sturdy and folds away. Great product

Very sturdy. Easy to set up and easy to close down again. Ample space for more than a full load of washing. The metal alloy used is quite strong and the rods that you drape your clothing across are quite firm and thicker than I expected. Very happy with this product and good price point.

Item folds compactly
I have used this rack at least 5 times since buying it. I would recommend anyone who hesitated, stop hesitating! It folds up very compactly and fits between my washer & dryer. It has held an entire XL load of my delicates, as well as a load of T-shirts & jeans. Very sturdy, light weight, and easy to use. It has little wings at the top, that unfold to hold additional items on hangars. This unit is amazing, especially for the price. I used it to replace my old folding rack that had seen better days….I only wished I replaced it sooner. I expect to use it weekly, perhaps even more often. Saves on electricity and better for the environment as well.
Study and easy to collapse drying rack
Most durable drying rack I have purchased off Bolo yet. Holds almost 2 whole loads of small adult laundry with room to dry nicely. Now if you're hanging larger sized clothing it would hold one load. Not great for blankets and linens.

Very good quality, takes very little space
I am very happy with this rack! I was expecting something of medium quality but this surpassed my expectations. The lines are thick and seem sturdy, even the plastic elements are thick and seem reliable. The top elements to put shirts on are a nice touch and working well. I would buy it again!
Not bad
Only drawback, is the folding it, you need to unlock both sides and it falls on you
