About this item:
No Clean Flux Paste. Convenient syringe dispenser ideal for touch up and repair of surface mount assemblies. A unique mixture of high grade synthetic resin and thixotropic agents designed specifically for use with high temperature lead free and conventional Sn/Pb alloys. It provides the fluxing activity levels that promote fast wetting action and maximum wetting spread. Flux paste is a no clean formulation therefore the residues do not need to be removed for most applications. Excellent wettability, no clean, non-conductive, non-tacky residues, compatible with lead free and leaded solder systems, thixotropic paste and RoHS compliant. RoHS compliant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great but you need to store it properly
Used for some retro console mods and repairs and mech keyboards mods and upgrades. Please note if it is not stored properly it WILL go thick be very hard to push out of the syringe. If it does go thick you can use it like regular solder use a fine toothpick to place it.If you want to revitalise it you need to squeeze it out on to a small tub and mix it with solder flux and it’s good to go
5.0 out of 5 stars good quality flux, hard to squeeze out
MG Chemicals 8341 No Clean Flux Paste,Good flux, you get a good amount which will last in my case. The flux melted quickly and effortlessly. I would say with this stuff the consistence is good you have to push extremely hard in order to get the stuff out. This as most flux does leave behind a vapor so if new best make sure you use this in a well ventilated room.Overall its good quality flux, says no clean buts it always wise to clean up after using as it take a mere for mins.
4.0 out of 5 stars Flux works brilliantly for delicate soldering tasks
If you're in need of flux for your soldering projects, this one might be what you're looking for. It works very well at cleaning metals, ensuring solid solder connections, particularly with delicate SMD tasks. For instance, I tried it out when soldering some ICs with fine pitches and it did the job admirably. But, the consistency is quite thick, which can make it tricky to apply, and the syringe isn't very sturdy - often leaving a residue afterwards. Cleaning off this residue from the PCB and tools can be a bit of a hassle. Additionally, although it performs effectively, the price might seem a bit high for its value. Make sure to ventilate while using it as it releases fumes. If you can handle these challenges, adding this flux to your toolkit could be worthwhile!
5.0 out of 5 stars Works very well
Used with desolder braid to remove surface mount it's. Great flux . No problems
3.0 out of 5 stars Too thick to be effective in general hobby use. Doesn't adhere well to boards either.
To be fair, this is my first experience with using flux paste. Previously I've relied on just flux-cored solders for through-hole work and more lately, liquid brush-on flux.I'd expectations of something that would flow easily from the syringe, but without excessive spread thereafter. In reality, as others have noted in their reviews, this is about as thick as it could be and still make it out of any reasonable size syringe needle. And it seems somewhat grainy too.I think the nail in the coffin for it as far as I am concerned is that once out of the needle, it doesn't adhere well to either pins or PCB tracks - it's far more interested in sticking to itself and the needle tip, and making a mess in the process.I thought this would make repairing and reworking through-hole boards faster but the reverse is true, and I'll either revert to liquid flux, or seek a less viscous gel/paste. On a positive note, it is noticeably less tacky and easier to clean using IPA-based solvents than simple rosin-based fluxes.
5.0 out of 5 stars It works well
This flux works really well very happy with this purchase
5.0 out of 5 stars Stays put for ages
Excellent stuff, doesn’t boil off so stays as a liquid for as long as you need. Mild cleaning power. Stays transparent and largely colourless so it’s easy to see what you’re working on under a layer of the stuff.
4.0 out of 5 stars Can be hard to squeeze out
I've used this mainly for SMD and desoldering duties. I like the syringe idea, but find that the consistency of the flux paste is uneven. It will squeeze out fine for a while, then get blocked and the nozzle will need cleaning. Also, it tends to leave a sticky residue that you WILL need to clean off with IPA.

Works like a Charm
1. The No Clean Flux Paste is an essential tool for professionals engaged in the touch-up and repair of surface mount assemblies. Packaged in a convenient syringe dispenser, it allows for precise application, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in repairs.2. Formulated with a unique blend of high-grade synthetic resin and thixotropic agents, this flux paste is specifically designed for use with both high-temperature lead-free and conventional Sn/Pb alloys. It delivers optimal fluxing activity, promoting rapid wetting action and extensive wetting spread.3. As a no clean formulation, the residues left behind do not require removal for most applications, making it an ideal choice for streamlined processes. Its excellent wettability, non-conductive, and non-tacky residues ensure compatibility with both lead-free and leaded solder systems, enhancing overall performance in electronic assembly tasks.
Works well.
Finally got a chance to use this flux, been keeping it in the basement fridge since ordering it. It works well and dispenses easily. As shown. Makes rework a lot easier, especially if working really small connections. Will order again when I eventually run out of it.
Ottimo prodotto
Fa egregiamente il suo lavoro
Funciona muy bien
Deja unas soldaduras muy limpias y brillantes. Deja algún residuo que se puede eliminar con alcohol isopropílico.
