This product is excellent for controlling bushy loose afro hair. Just a small amount applied makes a big difference. Daughter used for a month and her hair is in great condition and curls defined.

Cantu leave-in hair conditioner I love you!I have been blessed with very porou,s curly hair, prone to mad, crazy frizz bomb hair days when i cannot do a darn thing with it! It's embarrassing.I must've spent hundreds of pounds over the years on a whole array of expensive, 'promise the earth' kind of products, and did actually find one, (eventually), made by L'Oreal, called Extra Ordinary oil, leave- in conditioner and guess what? They stopped making it and discontinued it! I was not impressed.So back i went on the search again, 3 years since, a few hundred quid lighter and i discovered this little Gem, Cantu! My immediate reaction was, Nope, this ain't gonna work, it's not that expensive, so i bet it's rubbish! WRONG!!This stuff smells like a rich Coconut and Pineapple dessert when you remove the lid and it's similar to the texture of a light whipping cream. It really does smell devine. The tub is huge too, so it will last for ages.So, I must admit, I am pretty impressed with my new discovery and my purse has thanked me for it too as it is a lot heavier now.My hair regime is, I tend to wash my hair, then rinse, then use about 10p coin sized amount in the palm of my hand, smear it thinly between my hands, then use my fingers like combs and smear it onto one side of my head on my hair from root to ends and repeat for the other side. Then i use a brush to spread it evenly through all of my hair. Then i dry it on a low heat hair dryer, then i apply a small amount onto my palms and smooth through onto my dry hair to smooth out any whispy fly away frizz and it leaves my hair looking really glossy and tame. It's not sticky or heavy on your hair which is great. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is really fed up with trying to deal with their crazy mad hair.!! I don't ever normally write up reviews, but i felt i had to share my joy with fellow frizz monsters, who just want to look like they haven't slept in a humid jungle, on a pile of logs, in a monsoon rain storm! This conditioner smells gorgeous.It's not so good for me to leave in with fine hair as it can make it look greasy, but I think that this is due to my hair rather than the product.I use it as a hair mask, put it on, cover for half an hour then wash out. It leaves my hair soft and smelling beautiful

I am still at the beginning stage of my locs journey and keeping my hair and scalp hydrated has been a particular challenge this time round. However, using rosewater every day combined with this leave in conditioner has massively helped. Condition on my locs is much better than before and they seem to be locking better too. They feel softer and less hard. And I am experiencing less dryness, itching and flaking from my scalp too. It smells pleasant and only need to use a little as part of my morning hair routine before I leave the house. Definitely recommended

This new look version makes my hair stay super soft and my curls are really defined. It smells lovely and does the job perfectly. You've got the ingredients spot on, Cantu as the previous version dried out the hair. I would highly recommend this product.

The Cantù Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream offers good moisture for dry hair, leaving it soft and hydrated after use. While it’s a bit sticky, and the scent is just okay, it’s still effective at reducing dryness—a definite plus! However, I found it a bit challenging to distribute evenly throughout my hair. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you need extra hydration, though application requires some patience.

I bought this for my thick wavy hair. I have been looking for something that won't create too much of a cast or weigh my hair down too much. (I was using OGX Moroccan oil leave in conditioner but ran out & wanted try something else)I already use cantu body moisturisers and absolutely love them so thought to give this a go as it was on a good offer for the pot size.I have only used it a couple of times so far but I'm very happy with it. Can be used as a deep conditioning treatment also.I quite like the smell personally and a little goes a long way.Not sure about product build up as I don't always use products in my hair but because it's light I would think you could easily get 2 days before washing your hair again.Overall it left my hair looking and feeling naturally wavy, even improving the appearance of some of my dry ends. Good product!

Smell and quality
I like cantu products, they smell sooo good. And also the quality is great. The curls look nice and healthy.For my hair type , it gets oily quite quicklier with cantu ( I have very dry and thick hair so that is not common for me) it also depends on how much products you apply so it's very person dependent.The quantity is also a lot. I think it would last around 3 months. (Used 2-3 times a week)But highly recommended and would buy again

I’ve been using this for over a year now, I have straight black hair (in the photo my hair is wavy from braids overnight) and quite a lot of it too. I was told it was mostly for people with curly hair but it works really well for my hair type too! My hair is super shiny, much softer, smells great, and my head itches less. Best part is this is quite cheap and aids in the commitment to routine usage of this leave in conditioner.Sometimes I fear it may be too thick of a product in which case during the shower I simply wash my hair first and glob this into my scalp and leave it till the end of the session and quickly let water run through it just to dilute it and let it run through the rest of my hair. Outside the shower I’ll add more to the ends of my hair. It blow dries like normal.I guess this could also help with static and flyaway hair issues though it’ll dry sooner or later. Anyways this is pretty much the only product I’ll be using for the rest of my life unless I find out this is actually harmful in some way.Oh also it doesn’t give me bacne and my acne is frustratingly prominent.
