Andrex toilet rolls mean quality toilet rolls.Although Andrex Gentle Clean (ie:- puppies on a roll) is only 2 ply it is strong & absorbent and tears like it’s supposed to.I have sensitive skin which this toilet paper doesn’t irritate as it is fragrance free and dermatologically tested.I like the embossed dogs as it is a quirky touch, nicer than just plain white toilet paper and it is so gentle and soft - a must for every bathroom.Very reasonably price when purchased in bulk and even better value when you ‘Subscribe & Save’.

Remember the year 2020 when everyone went mad bulk buying toilet rolls because a handful of selfish people would clear the shelves in your local supermarket, causing more people to then do the same?I bought these 5x9 Andrex toilet rolls because I could not buy any in my local supermarket. I thought because they were on "limited time discount" that I would be making a saving, but I have noticed since placing the order that they spend more time on the discounted price than a higher price. In fact the discount price now appears to be the proper price as the "limited time discount" flag no longer appears on them.I placed the order on the 25th of September and they were finally delivered today, the 10th of October as Bolo had also run out - a knock on from the supermarket panic buying no doubt.When I opened the package, I could see immediately that there was something different about these rolls to the last ones that I ordered from Bolo around 2 years ago. The package was a lot smaller, in fact it's about a whole toilet rolls width smaller than what I had previously received. I compared the size of one Bolo "Andrex" to one from a leading supermarkets own brand and the Bolo "Andrex" is about 1.5 centimetres narrower on the sheet width and about 4 centimetres narrower across the circumference (the circular shape) of the roll. This means that the amount of sheets on the roll is considerable fewer than those on the leading supermarkets own brand.Why am I saying "leading supermarket"? - If I mention the supermarket name, Bolo will refuse to publish this review on the grounds that it makes their product look inferior... which it is!Now, I know that these Bolo "Andrex" rolls are a lot smaller than the same product on the shelves of all my local supermarkets, which leads me to suspect that these rolls are "specially packaged" for Bolo. You get this with the pound shops where you can buy a packet of 3 branded chocolate bars (For example, the bars named after a type of bus) and you think "Wow! 3 bars for a pound!" and then when you take one of the bars out of the wrapper, it's about an inch smaller than a standard bar. They do this so that they can still make a profit and they know that the average customer will either not notice or think "Well, I'm still getting them cheaper" - which you may well be, but the saving is NOT as much as you are lead to believe it is. Bolo claim the RRP on these is £23.75, but that is an RRP they have set for themselves as this product is not sold anywhere else (Apart from auction sites, where people buy in bulk on here, then sell on at an inflated price...)I will not be buying again as they are not worth the so-called discounted price.

Toilet paper was very well priced. I am really happy with the purchase, it is very soft. Only downside is when I went to repurchase, the price has increased almost 100%. Guess I just got it on a special sale. Was worth it at the first price. Not sure I’ll be paying twice as much in the future though.
