    Minoxodil is a medicine and I would advise anyone to monitor side effects accordingly. I experienced mild side effects in the first instance; however, these diminished substantially when I reduced the dosage. My experience was typical; after a couple of weeks of treatment, I experienced a shed, which was quite heavy and lasted for about a fortnight. Over the next three months, I stopped losing hair, hair density markedly increased, and I regrew a moderate amount of hair along my hairline. I can confirm, therefore, that it is capable of re-growing hair in the frontal areas of the scalp. It also alleviated what I call ‘the hair loss itch’, which is the sensation caused by the DHT irritating the hair follicles.This product clearly affects people in different ways, and the only solution is to try it for yourself. I find that it lasts for about a month using the recommended dosage. A number of reviewers have mentioned the liquid consistency of Regaine, in my experience, this results from storing the product in a warm environment. In this connection, I apply the foam with a plastic picnic knife. I find that the knife prevents the foam from prematurely melting in my hands. Moreover, if you would like to improve the efficacy of the product, I would recommend using a derma roller.I would always recommend purchasing Minoxodil (or any other medicine for that matter) from a recognised supplier (including Bolo, which I have found reliable). In my experience, some of the cheaper products offered on auction sites are either not genuine, out of date, or of a weak consistency. Having tried different brands of Minoxodil, I have found Regaine to be the most consistent performer. I also found the foam easier to use than the liquid; it dries significantly faster and doesn’t leave a wet or greasy appearance. The liquid may be more effective, but in my case this also meant increased side effects. It’s my understanding that the medicine was originally used to lower blood pressure, and if I use too much of it I get pins and needles, which reminds me to lower the dosage. This occurs very rarely and is a small inconvenience to maintain a full head of hair, but again, that is a decision for the individual.Finally, a word on its efficacy: after six months of use, my hair is thicker than at any point in my life. I now have thick, James Dean-style hair. That being said, I think the product will be of most benefit to those who are just starting to lose their hair. Whether it is capable of re-growing hair on a head that has been bald for five or ten years, I really couldn’t say. If I having anything further to report then I will update this review.

    Rubbish. Used about 10 times and then the foaming action stopped working so I have a can of water that won't come out. Can'r return as the site complaint area just requests information about hardware so I can't complete the information. Disappointing. I want a refund.

    I brought this item in the end of 2016, I was abit sceptical at first because if it was so good everyone would be using it but I guess not everyone will discuss hair loss in public. What convinced me was the fact the reviews on here were at a 4,5 star rating and I also searched on YouTube for peoples views on Rogaine. The first 6 months I noticed nothing, then suddenly came off the regiane, then this year "2017" tried to give it another go and I've been pleasantly surprised with the results.The last month or so I was messing with my hair and noticed these tiny hairs just below my hairline, and it makes my hair look alot thicker and more of it, I was shedding slightly on the one side of my hairline not on the crown area just at the front, and the shedding looks slightly better and now the top of my forehead is increasing in new hair, even though the area I want to be thicker hasn't been a massive success but to have hairs growing is fantastic, because I thought it was bit of a con at first.I only apply the foam at night, not in the mornings. Going to give it a whole 8-12 months and see where I get, at the moment really impressed, hopefully it'll work in the area I want it to most.Little advice - I find applying the foam alot easier with gloves because the heat from your fingers melts it really fast and isn't as thick when applying to the scalp. Put the foam in the cap to the top and use gloves to apply to your hair.Hope this review helpsNoticed results 10-12 months
