About this item:
The perfect size for little hands, Edushape’s set of 18 Sensory Puzzle Blocks are lightweight and colourful, helping little eyes to focus and develop recognition of different colours and shapes.
With several fun combinations to build including "C", T", "L" and zigzag shapes, these blocks offer endless opportunities for little ones to learn through play. They are also great for parent-child play and encouraging older children to play with younger siblings.
The fun, squashable Edu-Foam puzzle blocks feature different colours, shapes and a bumpy texture which ensures they are easy to grip and fun to explore. Creating different structures with the blocks will develop children’s arm and shoulder control and enhance hand-eye coordination at the same time, which will aid important skills such as learning to eat independently and learning to write.
Playing with these Sensory Puzzle Blocks and manipulating them into different combinations also aids with important cognitive skills including shape and colour recognition, balance, problem-solving, patience, concentration, judgement and memory. The bright and vibrant colours also capture children’s imaginations and stimulates their visual development.
Parents can rest assured that Edushape’s Sensory Puzzle Blocks are perfectly safe, as they have no nasties in them, being BPA and Phthalate free, and are fully safety tested.

Toddler approved!
My older son loves tetris so his baby brother wants to be like him! I bought these for the baby and he LOVES them. He plays with them all the time -- even in the bathtub lol Best purchase.
Great (thoughtful) toy
My children won't play that long with these, but it is a great toy that makes them think. They understand how it works, but getting all the shapes in moving them around to make them fit can be challenging for them. I have to help them out each time.
Three years and two toddlers
These foam blocks have withstood two toddlers. We purchased these blocks when our oldest was nine months. And now that she’s three and our youngest is one years old, they enjoy playing with these blocks together. At nine months, she mostly used these for teething. But now that she’s three, she has fun stacking and making towers.Great for imagination play!
A good idea poorly implemented
The idea of playing with tactual and visual stimulation is appealing, but it should be reserved for two-dimensional puzzles. The bumps on these block restrict any possible piling to two or three unstable lineups, as the lack of contact makes them highly unstable. Kids -and adults- get very frustrated trying to pile them up, and it's not even that kind of good frustration that teaches patience. I now use them only as a kind of 2D Tetris game, moving, rotating, and flipping shapes to come up with bigger simpler figures that will accommodate all the different blocks.
