YAY! At last, a mat which takes away pain and strain. I will never (knowingly) use a flat mouse mat again!Saw one of these gel mats in a High street store, and was convinced - immediately - that it would help any long term wrist strain. Proved correct as now I use two: upstairs and down, both with wireless mice, PC & Mac.I find it makes mouse movements feel more like a soft trackpad, as the surface of this Trixes Black Comfort Wrist Gel Rest Support Mat Mouse Mice Pad is so soft it's a delight to use.I love it ... as the soft gel 'mound' is precisely the correct height for my wrist and palm. It makes clicking, dragging, dropping, copy and pasting easy-peasy.This Gel matt is really non stick too - place it anywhere on your workstation top and it retains its position, it has a slightly weighted, and extremely glossy base which adheres to most every surface, wood, metal or plastic. One point ... when preparing to use this mat after unpacking it, I was at first unsure if the plastic backing should be pulled off ... it should - but take care doing it - as the protective packaging skin is a tad tricky to lift, but once an edge has been found, it peels away easily.Good product, good looking product, adds tidiness to your desktop, doesn't slip, buckle or peel, and looks as if it will last,Highly recommended.Delivery time quicker than quick on a quick day too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Small mouse mat, ideal for me
The mouse mat does the job perfectly for me.My keyboard and mouse are wireless (using TV as screen) so I'm usually sitting on the couch when using the PC. If I'm not leaning forward with the mouse and keyboard on the coffee table, I'm sitting back against the couch in a more relaxed position, so I wanted a mouse mat that would accommodate this. This mouse mat does the job nicely. I'm not one for moving the mouse over a large space (I use a hover and slide technique) and that's good because the mouse mat is small and isn't taking up much space at all. The wrist rest feels nice and definitely relieves some wrist ache, however after prolonged use this sort of pain is unavoidable regardless of your mouse mat.Like I said, I alternate between using the mouse on the coffee table and the couch. The pad has a good grip on the bottom that prevents any slippage on both surfaces. Also, on the couch, I find the wrist rest is useful as a way of stopping the mouse from sliding of the pad when I'm not holding it (my seat is angled upwards.)All in all, a good mouse mat for those who don't require something too big.
4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, but leaked after a year (my fault)
I used it for about a year and it was perfectly comfortable. I worked in a co-working space, so I carried it home with me and back and from the office every day. It must have bent in a strange position in my bag on one of those days, because it eventually cracked and the sticky gel started leaking. I still think it was value for money given how long I was able to use it for, but would only purchase it again if I could leave it on my desk and use it in one place.
5.0 out of 5 stars Effective and good value
Works well and doesn't slip. Perfect for my static roller ball mouse. No more wrist strain!
5.0 out of 5 stars Small but perfectly formed
Yes some other reviews state this is a small mouse mat. However there is sufficient room to move pointer to all edges of your monitor using a mouse with standard windows calibration, and hey if on occasion you run out of mouse mat, lift the mouse! For me, the size is a benefit, desk space is limited. Moving on... The mouse mat is made of high quality, durable materials (certainly durable for regular office environments), the wrist support is in the right place and comfortable, my optical mouse performs smooth and accurate operations upon the pad. I have no hesitation in recommending it as a no nonsense comfortable mouse mat at a great price point.
3.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and good quality, just check the size
This seems like a well made and comfortable mouse pad, it was just a lot smaller than expected. There isn't a huge amount of space for the mouse to actually move around, restricting movement quite significantly. My fault I suppose for not checking the size before ordering, just a little surprised they even make it so small.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful
I've had this since the end of February. I do a LOT of writing, and in the past couple of months have had an extremely back flare up of arthritis in my wrists. So this mouse mat has had hours of use seven days a week for two months. It's been excellent. I know others have had problems with the gel leaking, but I've had nothing like that. It is soft, comfortable and just the right size not to get in the way.It could probably do with a wipe down now and then with a damp cloth, but to be honest I really don't have the time or the energy for that. It does what I want i.e. it supports my wrist consistently and comfortably. If this is what you need, I would recommend this product. It's really worked well for me and I've used all sorts of different ones - including some really expensive ones - in the past but this is my favourite.
4.0 out of 5 stars It Was Worth a Wait
It's a decent mouse pad that seems like it'll last for quite some time. The wrist rest has begun to slightly deform, though the material inside is much, much sturdier and resilient than, say, foam. It works well with my mice, and it's comfy to use.The biggest downside was that, when it came, it reeked of chemicals. The underside had a sheet of plastic covering it, which was doing its job in keeping it free of dust and dirt. The underside is clearly meant to grip well on your desk, and should do so from the beginning. That is, it should, if you're willing to breathe in foul fumes for about a month or so.The smell eventually dissipated, though with it went most of the grip. These days, the underside is just smooth, not grippy, and slides around my desk with a passing push. It's a good mouse pad, and it should last some time, but it's still got its flaws. The rating I gave it is because, at the end of the day, it still does what it needs to do with a good deal of competence.
Veel te dun
Helaas is hij heel dun. Zowel matje als polssteun.
Cómodo y flexible
Un plantilla genial para evitar malestar en la mano al trabajar muchas horas. 100% recomendable
Love it
Very confy, long lasting but don't fold it will break!
Comfortable for work
After using it I no longer have red pressure marks under my wrist, so it's doing the job well. If you remove the plastic cover from the back, it'll stick to the desk and won't move. Also, my mouse no longer makes weird jumps, so it must be made from a good material that increases the precision. It's good for games but in my case it's for work, it really does help reduce RSI risk and issues.
parfait
