I own this watch for 9 months. It's worth every single penny, no problems. All functions work perfectly ,you have to read manual carefully so you can set it,it's very easy. The media could not be loaded. It's functional, stylish and comfortable to wear. Easy to use. A bit heavy but quickly can get use to it. Made in Japan. Features, 6 band wave ceptor, perpetual calendar, sapphire glass, alarm,chrono, tachymeter, wr200. Brancelet can be adjust by removing full or half links for a better fit. Solar powered. 1 sunny day can provide energy for about 6 months. Looks posh too. I would buy again.Update 10.04.2020: After 2.5yrs i can surely say that this watch is really good choice. The solid link branceled put to the pouch to keep it in close to brand new condition and replaced by calf skin 24mm strap. I can feel the different as the watch lost its weight and gain the kind of vintage look [in my opinion anyway ;)] I forgot to mention at the first time that the luminous hand and dial are really nice blueish colour and lasts long too. Really happy of the purchase especially i see how much this watch costs now. Anyway it's still worth the money.

Have waited a long time to treat myself to this watch. Now I finally have it am really pleased with it. Keeps perfect time, is very good quality and keeps perfect time to the second (with the speaking clock!). Is rfeally cool that it is radio controlled. It says in the instructions to put it on a window ledge or near the window to get a signal, I guess it will depend on where you are, but I put it away in a draw at night and it manages to update with a high or medium signal most nights! And as for the reviewer earlier that complained about the strap being to small, am confused by that, I am a man with not skinny wrists by any stretch of the imagination, and I have just had the strap made smaller to fit me more comfortably!!Finally a well done to Bolo and their delivery service, ordered it at about 20.45 in the evening paid for a next day evening delivery admittidley, but even so arrive by courier at 18.50 the next evening! impressed.If you are looking for a quality time piece that looks good and works well you could do a lot worse than buy one of these or any citizen watch to be honest.

Having experienced issues with Casio radio-controlled watches, where they routinely lost time and were not 100% accurate, I decided to switch to Citizen and chose this watch because it looked great and had excellent reviews. The principal reason for me buying this type of watch is that they are supposed to be accurate at all times and I hoped that Citizen would be better in this regard than Casio.It was a bonus that it was already accurate out of the box and so there was nothing for me to do other than adjust the bracelet to fit. The watch looks great and I love the fact that I will never have to worry about batteries ever again. At first the watch did exactly as it should and was totally in sync with the speaking clock. However, in time I noticed that it started to slip out of sync, sometimes by a few seconds, on other occasions by a few minutes. The only way to correct the watch to ensure that it was again accurate was to perform a manual adjustment, something I had switched to Citizen specifically to avoid, as this was exactly the same issue with Casio radio-controlled watches. This time slippage is now a regular occurrence and I have to perform a manual reset at least once a week, sometimes more frequently than this.As accurate time-keeping remains the most important feature of this, or any other, watch, I am hugely disappointed and would advise caution to anyone considering buying this item in order to have 100% accurate time-keeping. It simply does not deliver and the only difference between this watch and a radio-controlled Casio model is that it is much more expensive. Both are flawed in terms of accurate time keeping, so beware.I'll now have to wait for the release of the Apple iWatch in April to finally get a watch that keeps accurate time permanently without the need for manual intervention.

This watch is beautiful. I bought it after my Accurist watch started to fall apart after 12 years of wearing it daily. I could easily have had it repaired but happened to see this in an airplane magazine and eventually decided to buy it.It arrived dead, but after about 2 hours under a bright light, it came to life. Easy to set the time, but of course you don't have to - just run a manual radio reception and it will update itself (I live in south east London and get a strong signal, from the tower in Germany). It also does this automatically at 2am every day, so whenever I compare it to the time on my laptop, or at the train station, it is always within half a second. Brilliant.I have relatively thin wrists and had four links removed, but that's no biggie.The only problems with this watch are:- Stopwatch doesn't show subseconds- Can't use a stopwatch immediately; you have to put it into Chrono mode first, then wait a few seconds for it to sort itself outThe other advantages are:- it has an internal calendar with month and year* (*more precisely, it just know the number of years since the last leap year, which is good enough until the year 2100)- the hands and 12 markers glow in the dark- it looks really stylish
Fantastische Uhr!
Ich liebe die Uhr. Etwas Einarbeitung nötig. Aber dafür bekommt man eine wirklich präzise und schöne Uhr. Zu beachten ist aber, es gibt keine deutsche Zeitzone, hierzulande muss man also die alternative Zeitzone verwenden. Finde ich aber nicht schlimm.
Bellissimo oltre ogni immaginazione
Come da titolo, niente di più bello. Per configurarlo non è stato per nulla facile, fino a quando ho trovato su YouTube un video perfetto. Non dovrete andare a cercare l'articolo che fa riferimento all'orologio in questione, bensì dovrete digitare questo: Citizen Eco-Drive AT4008-51E è esattamente lo stesso di quello che avete acquistato. Mi raccomando dovrete seguire esattamente l'ordine temporale indicato nel video. Dal reset ( importantissimo per il buon funzionamento) a seguire. Poi per la ricezione del segnale radio,esiste una applicazione che permette di ricevere il segnale radio attraverso gli altoparlanti del cellulare, (nome dell'applicazione è DCF77). GLI Altoparlanti dovranno essere posizionati di fronte all'orologio in corrispondenza del ricettore del segnale diverso per ogni orologio(viene indicato nelle caratteristiche del vostro dispositivo) Dovrete attendere che finisca di fare alcune operazioni (ci vorranno circa 10 o 18 minuti. L'importante è alzare al massimo il volume del cellulare, godetevi il vostro nuovo e fantastico Citizen. Spero di esserti stato utile. Ciaoooo

Sehr schöner und wertiger Funk-Solar-Chrono
Grundsätzlich, um lästige und auf Dauer ins Geld gehende Batteriewechsel zu sparen, kaufe ich mir nur noch Funk-Solar-Uhren. Auf der Suche nach einem mir gefallenden entsprechenden Chrono bin ich auf die Citizen AT4004-52E gestoßen, welche mir optisch und hinsichtlich der Daten sehr zugesagt hat. Wichtig war mir hier (neben Funk und Solar) u. a. noch, dass die Uhr eine Alarmfunktion besitzt und nicht zu kleine Anzeigedarstellungen hat. Als hier bei Bolo noch ein Top-Preis von 299,99 Euro gegeben war, habe ich mich zum Kauf entschieden. Dass es sich bei der Uhr um kein aktuelles Modell handelte, störte mich absolut nicht; mir war wichtig, dass der Chrono meinen Vorstellungen entsprach. Und meine Vorstellungen wurden in vollem Umfang erfüllt. Die Uhr ist groß, hochwertig verarbeitet und hinsichtlich der Funktion absolut einfach zu bedienen. Da brauche ich auch nach längerer Zeit kein erneutes Beschreibungsstudium. Es sollte einem jedoch vor einem Kauf klar sein, dass die Uhr, neben vier US-amerikanischen Städten, für Europa nur für London die funkgesteuerte Uhrzeit anzeigt - das war mir vorher schon bekannt. Für unter anderem die deutsche Zeit kann die Uhr jedoch auf der Funktion "A-TM" (Alternativzeit), jedoch ohne Funkfunktion, betrieben werden. Wer möchte, kann jedoch sehr einfach hin und wieder, beispielsweise über Nacht, auf die London-Zeit stellen, damit sich die Uhr zeitlich kalibriert. Anschließend einfach wieder zurück auf "A-TM" und gut. Eine Sommerzeit-Funktion ist für alle Zeitebenen ebenfalls vorhanden, welche bei "A-TM" auch sehr einfach und schnell umgestellt ist. Für die Band-Längenanpassung habe ich mir übrigens gleich bei Bolo ein brauchbares und günstiges Uhrenwerkzeug-Set mitbestellt (Eventronic-147); damit kann ich jetzt auch den Batteriewechsel an meinen Nicht-Solar-Armbanduhren preisgünstig selbst durchführen.
