I've used lots of braids over the years. Chemwik is the best. But this equals it. Now I have two choices of braid to buy.Only negative is the reel is a pain to open. Doesn't flow nicely off the reel. So pull a good bit out.But between this and chemwik, they are equal. Buy with confidence.

Was a bit dubious about how good a pre-fluxed wick would be but it did exactly what is was supposed to do and all without any additional flux required at all, a great job, excellent product at a great price.

I feel it’s ok for de soldering when you are removing very very small blobs of solder as I struggled with removing what I refer to what is normally on a component on a PCB.

Brought this to desolder some wires and the joysticks from an old PS2 controller circuit board, and it did the job perfectly fine. For my first time desoldering anything, I had the job done in a matter of minutes.If you’re working with circuit boards, you’ll definitely want to clean it afterwards with some rubbing alcohol, as the added flux does make it sticky and quite grubby afterwards.

This one is the John Wick! the best there is, easy to work with and doesnt shred apart like some of the crapper wicks do, ive tried tons Goot, Mechanic, 2UUL and loads more and this is still always my go to

I’ve been working with soldered components for some time now. I always seemed to struggle desoldering, but little did I know that the braid I was using was rubbish! Since getting a smaller roll of this, you could literally see the solder drawn off the components and onto the braid. It draws it well beyond the point of the soldering iron. It’s so good I’ve bought this larger roll now, as desoldering is so much easier with this. Highly recommended.

As good or better than Chem-Wick
Chem-Wick use to be the best and still does work well, but not as good as it once was, as for this product, I think it works even better, as least for my applications anyway. I was pleasantly surprised with just how good it works, do not think you will find any better for the money these days, although all this stuff is ridiculously high anymore. For those like me who will not pay $100.00+ for 50' of Chem-Wick, give this a try you will not regret it.
