    Not all solder wick is the same. I never believed this and always struggled with cheap wick until someone told me to try a high quality solder wick like this one. Its night and day. Try it. You still need a bit of technique of course but once you get the hang of it its brilliant stuff.

    I've had no issues using this braided wick for reworking. There are so many no-name wick available for around the same price if not cheaper but they just don't work as well as this wick from my experience.

    Does exactly what it’s meant to do - remove solder! Quite small but works very well so a good product indeed. Just a word of caution, this should be used in open air, fume extractor or with a window open as the smokes given off can be quite dangerous.

    I have struggled with removing components from pcbs up to now, but this does the job so quickly. The wick absorbs the solder very quickly and completely so that the component can be picked off the board without any problem. A very good find.

    I was looking for braid that was made with very fine wires for use on SMD components, and it works very well indeed. The built in flux makes desoldering much easier than braid without it, and the finer wires help get braid closer to solder. Very good.

    I was reluctant to try this after using Chemtronics for many, many year's, but the price hot so ridiculous it forced me to look elsewhere and I haven't regretted it for a second. I can only tell ya from my experience, but this stuff works every bit as good and I actually think a bit better than Chemtronics, give it a try and I believe you will not be disappointed.

    J'étais méfiant, trop habitué à ma vieille tresse couleur étain. Mais celle ci, couleur cuivre, est top. La finesse de son maillage et son matériau sont super efficaces pour récupérer tout l'étain sur n'importe quelle patte de composant, prise soudée ou piste de circuit imprimé.
