The thermostat is handy as the room can get pretty warm after a while, so it turns on and off when the temp falls.I purchased in Jan 2019, I’m still using it though it did stop working in 2021, luckily a relative of mine is handy with repairs and said the cable inside had come away from the connections and was able to re-attach it, it’s been fine since then and I take it out every winter.It doesn’t make any noise, it has wheels to move it around but is not heavy at all. It’s black and looks pretty smart too.

    As my title says, this is a SUPERB Heater.Bolo delivered my heater 24 hours after ordering it!! Amazing! Thank you MUST go to Bolo for the superfast delivery.I unpacked the heater, slid the footrest and wheels onto the heater base in one minute, put the batteries in the Remote Control and hey presto!, it was ready for use.IMPORTANT NOTE: The Remote Control is tucked into a slot in one of the white polystyrene packing blocks - so don’t throw the packing away until you’ve recovered the Remote Control Device!!I tried it out in my quite large kitchen. Switched it on using the remote and the temperature displayed is the current room temperature. Mine read 22. I used the remote and upped the temperature to the full setting to see how quick the heater would make the kitchen HOT - hotter than I wanted. In half an hour, the temp reading was 25 and in an hour it was 28 - very impressive!!I’ve got to sort out of loads of stuff in my COLD Garage, so my first use of this beauty will be in there - to keep me warm and encourage me to do this dreaded job. Thereafter, I will use this heater ANYWHERE I need some nice heat.This heater is sooooo lightweight, it is a doddle to move it around to any room.....I’ll have no trouble carrying it upstairs. I just cannot believe a device this light gives out so much heat!! My friend’s oil filled heater weighs a ton. Care will need to be taken not to dent or damage the “mesh” sides of the heater though, as they’re substantial, but not that thick.For me, this heater is to warm individual rooms, as needed. Yes, Central Heating is nice to give a background heat throughout your property, but you are paying a LOT of money on electric and gas costs to heat an ENTIRE house, while sitting in just ONE room!! Even in the summer in the UK, you can get “chilly” evenings. I’ve got a beautiful electric log burner stove in my main sitting room, to just pop-on when needed. I have bought this Duronic heater to use ANYWHERE I need instant heat (chilly bedroom?). Would be GREAT for a cold Conservatory, Garage, Workroom, Man Cave......well....ANY ROOM!!ANY IMPROVEMENTS? YES:- Longer Cable......it is REALLY short. It should not drape near to the heater.- Power Cable should be located on the BACK of the heater, NOT the front!- Cable holding brackets should obviously also be on the REAR panel, with Remote Holder Slot above.- FOUR Wheels would be better, instead of Two, still providing the pulling handle though.- SLOT on the back panel of the heater to house the Remote Control (it’s a very small Remote).- Ability on Remote to “Programme” the Heater with THREE “On and Off” times.- Heater should “remember” your last-used setting....it does not.Take care!!......You can’t stand this fire against a wall......it needs its own standing space as it emits heat from both sides!!A GREAT purchase. For this price you get a great, efficient, lightweight, stylish heater that you can use absolutely ANYWHERE. I’ll definitely buy another of these if I need more electric heaters.Are you asleep yet?     The product is very reasonably priced and has an attractive and streamlined black finish. The lightweight build together with the handles at both ends and wheels at the rear make it very easy to manoeuvre and reposition, even when hot.The packaging includes some very basic instructions but the full user manual can only be accessed by the Duronics website.The controls are very easy to use. There is no warming up time, it gets to work straight away and delivers a very impressive amount of heat considering it’s size and build. It makes no noise at all.The only thing that prevents this product from being perfect are a couple of design faults and they both relate to the cable.Firstly, it should be positioned at the rear of the unit, not the front. This makes it rather awkward, (and potentially dangerous), to reach the controls when the unit is plugged in and in operation.Secondly, the cable is way too short. It should be about three times the length. The instructions stress that an extension cable should not be used for safety reasons and it should be plugged directly into a wall socket. Given that most wall sockets tend to be in the corners of rooms it makes it difficult to position the unit where it would provide the most benefit. It is also worth pointing out that it needs to be kept away from furniture and furnishings, also that it is only the sides and top that get hot, the front and rear remaining cold. Once switched off it cools very quickly.All in all I think this is a very impressive product for the price, but it is a great shame the same care and attention was not put into the cabling as was the rest of the unit.

No hace ruido. Fácil de transportar. Consume poca luz (no lo he notado en el recibo).

    La potenza di questa stufa è impressionante, riesce a portare in temperatura una stanza in un minuto. abbastanza precisa nella regolazione di temperatura. l'unica pecca è che le prime ore di utilizzo producono una leggera puzza fastidiosa. è preferibile farla funzionare al primo utilizzo, in ambiente molto areato. dopo non produce nessun odore. il telecomando è perfetto e funziona da ogni angolatura. la spedizione è stata veloce. vale il prezzo pagato. molto soddisfatto

    En general, el producto no está muy bien fabricado. Tiene aristas cortantes en la parte inferior y los plásticos son de baja calidad. La precisión del termostato es pésima. La diferencia con un termómetro de calidad es de 4,5 grados. Además, el intervalo de conexión y desconexión es de 3 grados, con lo que las variaciones de temperatura en la sala son elevadas. No obstante, calienta deprisa y una vez detectado el desfase de temperatura con la temperatura real de la estancia, es fácil llegar al umbral de temperatura deseado (salvo por las variaciones mencionadas).
