Good item, did the job well on a Mini One R57 rear brake calipers. The plate didn't quite fit in backwards so had to slide it in when the tool was in place but worked great and didn't bend. There wasn't much pressure on it and could have used a piston cube but this was fine. Pins in the head seem sturdy enough.

After using a variety of methods over the years to wind back the caliper pistons on several different cars I decided to invest in one of these. It fitted the Lucas rear calipers on my 2003 Honda Accord perfectly. For the first couple of turns there isn't quite enough clearance to slide the tool's bridge plate into the caliper so you have to just push hard as well as turning. Then as soon as you've gained enough room to insert the plate the tool comes into its own and it works beautifully. My Lucas calipers were stiff to turn but you can use a socket wrench or ring spanner on the head of the tool for extra purchase so all's fine. Overall a great investment for my tool box. R

Good quality tool. Does the job for an infrequent brake change. The package was damaged when delivered with the plastic wrapping taped up with Bolo tape (I think it was used then returned?). The tool was going to be used in a. Dirty environment and would be scratched up anyway so not too bothered

I used this while changing my rear brake pads on my MK1 Ford Focus. It was the first time I had ever done brakes myself, so I watched several videos on how to do it and what I would need ahead of time. I learned I would need this tool to wind back the piston so I could insert the new brake pads and have room to put the caliper back over the rota. This did the job perfectly and was very easy to use.

Did the job changing my discs and pads. Didn't realise it only works on the back pistons as I've never used one before. Did the job well though with a bit of faffinf as no instructions were provided. Had to use mole grips on the front. Would have been 5* with some instructions
3.0 out of 5 stars Not really compatible with Honda Jazz 2002-2008
While the seller claims the tool is compatible with Honda vehicles this is a rather generous assertion that proved mostly false. While the tool appears robust and well made it almost proved useless for use with my first generation Honda Jazz and most likely that would be the case with the newer models and probably some Civics too. There are several problems with the design of the tool, the most obvious is that the size of the pins don't much the groove on the caliper for the Honda Jazz. I had to file them down to size in order to being able to fully insert them into the groove. Then a second problem arised. IF your pads are severly worn out as they were mine, you will not be able to insert the tool between the botton of the caliper and the top of the piston due to lack of space which kind of defeats the purpose of the tool in the first place. The extra set of pins take room and the pressure plate is very thick (5-6mm which is overkill for the job this tool is supposed to do). At the end I had cut the teeth on the side of the adaptor that I didn't need to gain some extra room. Yet still this wasn't enough and I had to forget about using the pressure plate to wind up the piston. Luckily for me the piston did not offer much resistance and so I was able to use the tool to rewind it by holding the calliper in my hand and applying just a bit of pressure on the twisting motion. Not sure if this trick will work if you piston is stuck on its thread. Finally assuming you managed to find enough room to fit the pressure plate the tool is not centered on the piston head either making it doubtful that would be able to use it effectively should you need to in order to rewind the piston. In my opinion this tool will help you out assuming the size of your piston is on the bigger size. That was not the case with my Honda Jazz and I would suggest that based on this information you assess the suitability of the tool for your particular vehicle.

Mi serviva per sostituire le pastiglie dell'auto, non sono un meccanico quindi ho provato questo a basso costo visto che non cambio pastiglie ogni giorno e non ne faccio un'utilizzo professionale. Devo dire che al momento l'ho usato per le mie due auto senza problemi. Comodo, robusto e funzionale.. visto il costo direi che non potevo desiderare di meglio per cambiare le pastiglie da solo.

Facile utilizzo, ottimo risultato, spesa minima.
Il prodotto è eccellente, da subito si è mostrato solito e robusto, utilizzato per sostituire le pasticche anteriori della mia ford con una semplicità arretra il pistone senza alcun problema. Lo consiglio sia per il prodotto che per il prezzo davvero irrisorio, senza dover spendere molto e per persone che si dilettano nella manutenzione fai da te della propria automobile.
En mi caso particular cumple su función.
En mi coche, alfa romeo gt, ha funcionado perfectamente, pero quizás en otros modelos, que la dureza de retroceso del pistón de la pinza de freno sea mayor, pueda haber algún problema. Sobre el adaptador al pistón tiene solo dos medidas, con lo cual si se adapta a la medida de tu coche, pues funcionará, pero en medidas diferentes sería más lógico optar por otro ceñidor de pinzas con platillos adaptadores de varias medidas.
