The Lock Only Keeps Out the Honest
This box kept people out for a year before it was broken into. I guess it's just the cost of doing business. Thankfully, the lock cylinder can be replaced on these. I recommend this product or I recommend an unlocked ashtray coupled with regular garbage clean-up.
Works well! My tenants leave fewer butts on the porch
This was apready put together, just screw to the wall with provided screws. only problem is that it has to screw onto 4 corners, so your location has to be wide enough to accomodate. (not too high so its uncomfortable and not too low so little kids stick their fingers in it. Overall, I would reccomend. we got black/black makes it harder to see the black ash markes than the silver would be.

We purchased for a building. We put it on the wall next to the bench and at arm level. Hopefully that will make it easier for the silly people that still throw butts on the ground. Our smokers that we know tell us they love it. It comes with a key and it easy to mount. The tray inside pulls out to make it easy to throw the butts out.
