Indications

For Ages 12+. Use: Nicorette 15mg inhalator is used to relieve and/or prevent withdrawal symptoms and reduce the cravings you get when you try to stop smoking or when cutting down the number of cigarettes you smoke. It provides a safer alternative to smoking for both the individual and those around them. Ideally you should aim to stop smoking. However nicorette 15mg inhalator can be used in a number of different ways, either to completely replace all your cigarettes, or if you do not feel ready to stop smoking completely, to replace certain cigarettes and therefore help you cut down the number of cigarettes you smoke. It may also help increase your motivation to quit.

Directions

For adults and children 12 years and over: Insert cartridge into plastic mouth piece (as directed), inhale through mouthpiece as required, using a maximum of 6 cartridges per day. Nicorette 15mg inhalator is used to relieve and/or prevent withdrawal symptoms and reduce the cravings you get when you try to stop smoking or when cutting down the number of cigarettes you smoke. It provides a safer alternative to smoking for both the individual and those around them. Ideally you should aim to stop smoking. I find these make stopping smoking much easier combined with patches if you smoke 20 or more a day. They last longer than vapes and are much cheaper. None of the sticky residue and can be used anywhere as there is no vapour at all, nothing comes out, you inhale the nicotine and it’s not possible for anything to come out if you aren’t inhaling. No steam at all and able to be used discreetly.After a while I have moved off the patches and just used this, having in my hand and inhaling regularly, to just picking it up two or three times a day.I have done better in the past with these than I have ever done using a vape. Vapes just don’t make it seem like you’ve stopped, it’s still the same habit, inhaling and blowing something out. You can’t do that with the nicorette and it’s all about breaking the habit. Yeah it may seem harder with this if you’ve tried to stop with a vape but that’s because you are breaking the habit and it’s just the nicotine addiction you need to reduce.Reducing the nicotine comes with using the patches properly, some can stop with just them but others, like me, need extra help. Although I have previously managed a week cold turkey but that is an extra special head space that I am not in at the moment.My tips would be: Use the patches, put them on in the morning so as to limit the crazy dreams you might get (I actually like them).Use the inhalator if you have a bad craving and feel like giving in or just keep it in your hand to fiddle with and use to keep the cravings at bay.The first couple of days are the hardest but just take deep breaths, drink some water or eat a carrot etc and the cravings will pass.Exercise more than you would, just put your favourite feel good song on and dance/jog on the spot until it finishes. If you manage that, try another song but don’t stop until it finishes. The key is not to stop until the song or amount of songs are finished, that way you push yourself. This gets your breathing up and I find it helps to clear out the lungs easier. Never mind weighing yourself, just keep dancing 🕺🏻Grab some sunflower seeds, nuts, dates, blueberries, strawberries, banana and a touch of honey, add into cheap value muesli and have that with milk in the morning. Try and replace tea/coffee with water, also helping to break the habit. Stay off the booze, it encourages me to smoke. Stay in for a while, too easy to smoke when others are smoking, or even just the thought of them having cigarettes on them makes me crave.Never say that you will never smoke again, for a smoker this is not a good thought and actually doesn’t help. Just tell yourself that it’s just one day, you can manage that, and then tell yourself the same thing next day and so on.Use the nhs stop smoking app, it’ll show you milestones, how long you’ve stopped and how much money you’ve not spent on cigarettes, quite encouraging.Try meditation, there’s some free videos to watch netflix, maybe even some on Bolo.Start making proper healthy food in the kitchen, it’ll save you money and you will have more energy when you stop smoking. Plus you will feel much better eating better.Good health begins in the gut, that includes your mental health and sleep. Get some sunlight or take high strength vitamin D.Good luck

I’ve tried everything to give up smoking; from patches (which are awful), chewing gums (again, awful), vapes (I do not recommend at all) to doing classes and these nicorette pipes are the best, they take the edge off the stress of giving up smoking even if they are expensive as it’s worth it when smoking is much more expensive

I admit to being a total nicotine addict, having smoked since the age of 15 - pipes, cigarettes and cigars. Having tried multiple times to stop smoking I eventually resorted to using vapes about 5 years ago. Vapes work for me and I'm only trying to stop using these due to oral health issues (vapes are, of course, an irritant). My initial impression of the Nicorette inhalator was that I couldn't tell whether or not I'd had a 'hit.' It certainly didn't seem to subdue my craving. The things taste absolutely disgusting (yes, I know - willpower required) but it left me feeling slightly nauseous after just a few puffs. The instructions tell the user to discard the insert after 40 minutes. Does the user have to use a timing device? Surely the manufacturer could make this device more palatable - the background taste reminds me of those awful menthol cigs we bought as teenagers ('cool as a mountain stream' - remember?)I never thought that vaping could be a luxury, but when compared to this inhalator a vape is pure heaven. I'll put the Nicorette in a drawer for later. Who knows - it may come in handy.
