My wife has a thigh issue meaning that it was painful when the quilt touched her leg. This one was next day delivery for prime so decided to go for it. Very well packed, solid and substantial piece of kit, no awkward fasteners and just folds backwards on itself to create a rigid frame that will not close when in place. Fitted perfectly on our king size bed with a thick mattress and topper. The standard king size quilt fitted perfectly as well with no cold gaps at the sides. Can highly recommend this bed cradle for both price and quality.

Following surgery I have been delighted with this purchase. It has really performed well and is very sturdy and easy to place wherever you need it. Has been in use for several weeks and not moved. Have another foot to go yet but the frame folds neatly so easy to store until it is needed again.

This product has helped to make sleeping much more comfortable. Before we bought this the weight of the duvet was causing quite a lot of discomfort. This product, which I use to lift the duvet off my broken ankle, is well made, sturdy and when not in use, folds flat. One thing I do find is that the metal frame was quite cold, we solved this problem by encasing the top metal structure in lengths of foam pipe insulation tubing. We place it under the mattress towards the bottom of the bed and it is very stable. However to be perfect it could be a bit taller to allow more space/height for my feet. This problem is exacerbated by the thickness of our mattress. A thinner mattress would allow more space for my feet. As I place this frame under the mattress it would have been helpful if I had measured the depth of our mattress before purchasing it, this would have shown me how much foot space I would have had. However the product has worked well.

Badly sprained my foot. Bought this. It’s really easy to unfold and put under my mattress, lifting the bedclothes off my feet. It saved me! My foot is now healing well, but I don’t want to remove it. I love the freedom on my feet. I cannot recommend it enough.

The design is excellent, allows for use at the end of the bed or along the side. I only have light weight bedding so cannot comment too much on its steadiness except to say that it supports my chunky little cat who likes to lay on it. The item can be folded back very easily do that you only have the upright section visible when you want. Very pleased with this and also with the price.

We are returning this bed cage as it is very heavy and difficult to use with a duvet. I was annoyed to learn I have to pay postage to return it. I shop with Bolo all the time being disabled, rarely being able to leave home. Being a heavy item I expect postage to be expensive and it will be difficult to get out to a post office. Had I noticed I was expected to pay return postage I wouldn’t have ordered this item.

Gave up waiting on waiting on health service to provide one for my elderly mother who has leg problems so ordered this in the meantime. Came assembled. Very easy to use and very light but sturdy. Holds the weight of a large duvet no problem . Told nurse not to bother now because this does the job perfectly. Slips under the mattress so easily moved if needed. Would surely recommend .paying more does not necessarily mean better quality in this case

Does the job but falls from bed easily
Does the job but if not below heavy mattress it will drop to the floor easily and can leave marks on your floor as its metal and heavy.

Superb value and perfect to protect feet and legs
The strength of the arceau is fantastic. It folds to a flat piece of chrome tubing which imakes for easy storage. I put mine at the end of the bed and it supports the sheet and duvet fantastically. My disabled husband is overjoyed as he used to have an arch but hated it when the metal was in contact with his feet and toes as it was painful. Now he has the full width of the bed with no obstruction. I placed a pillow at the end to protect him from the stand and he is in luxury. No more overheated feet or pressure of bedding. Perfect.
