About this item:
Sebastiao Salgado has long relied on KODAK PROFESSIONAL TRI-X Film to express the human condition as he sees it. This classic black-and-white film allows for maximum pushability when he needs it, while its wide exposure latitude lets him leverage even the most challenging lighting situations. And the distinctive grain structure adds a level of realism as dramatic and profound as each subject.

5.0 out of 5 stars My favourite 120mm film
This is probably my favourite 120mm film. I find it relatively grainy and that puts some people off (they go for T-MAX instead) but I love the effects. Have gone through several dozen rolls of this now and wouldn't change it for the world. Probably the cheapest price I've found on the net for this film too, at least for film that's still in date. Super easy to process in your home with a daylight development kit and Ilford/Kodak chemistry. Sample picture I took and processed myself attached.
5.0 out of 5 stars Classic film.
Classic B+W film, can't go wrong if you are for that type of look. Very 3D. If you get the right chemical you can develop it sharp. I used Ilford DD-X but will try Kodak HC-110.
5.0 out of 5 stars The gold standard for black and white film
There's a reason TRI-X has been the black and white standard for decades now. Extremely versatile, beautiful grain structure and responds well to pushing, pulling and under/overexposing. I like to shoot it 1 or 2 stops over for portraits and I get beautiful tones and very attractive grain. This and its sister TMAX 100 are a must try for any film photographer.
5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin
Tri-x in 120 format, you get what you're paying for, you get to push it with good results. A bit contrasty for my own personal taste generally, but when you nail it the tones are stunning
5.0 out of 5 stars The best black and white film available. Simple.
My favourite black and white film. Highly versatile and forgiving. It's also very easy to develop at home. I have tried lots of other black and white films but I always have a stock of Tri-X.

This was a Present for my Son for his Birthday,
Grana piacevolmente fina
Ottimo prodotto. Unico appunto: il numero dello scatto è scritto subito dopo la parola "kodak" senza i consueti puntini di avvertimento, quindi porre attenzione.
Nice and Fresh
Several months ago, I purchased a used medium format camera online to go with the other film cameras I use with my resurrected darkroom. I always liked Kodak Tri-X 400 ISO film. I prefer using faster shutter speeds and the grain in medium film is no obstacle to making great black & white prints because the negative size requires less enlarging than smaller formats such as 35mm and 110 film, which I also use. I am quite happy with this film and it arrived reasonably quick from the seller. Great stuff!Addendum 8/15/2023:After a move, and the purchase of another medium format camera, it was time to order another box. I received it within the expected timeframe (It arrived today) and I am pleased to report that the film has an expiration date of 01/2025 as noted in the photo I have provided. Considering the prices I found at various other sellers, this was a very good deal... that is, fresh film at a good price. What more do you want?Pros:- Kodak 400TX. A superb film.- Great expiration date.- Very reasonable price.Cons:- Because this is shipped directly from the seller and not stocked at an Bolo warehouse, you don't get 2-day delivery. It was ordered on 8/10 and arrived by mail on 8/15. Still, five days isn't that bad so it's not much of a concern.

Pack perfecto
