This toy did not disintegrate like all the other toys recommended for agressive chewers. Its been three weeks. So - so far, so good.

This Kong toy is clearly not one of the most exciting dog toys available. It does not have any squeaker or moving part, it is exactly how it looks. But it is certainly durable, which is key for dog owners with aggressive chewers.AppearanceThe toy looks as it does in the product photos, it is a tyre shape with some elements including the Kong logo and tyre-inspired details. It has a central hole and a channel, much like a tyre, through the middle.PlayThe toy can roll along on its side for an improvised game of fetch. Otherwise, my dog likes to hold and chew on it. The inner channel offers a place to chew at, but the lack of parts means there is not too much leverage for the dog to take off pieces (see durability below), which is a plus!Treat dispensingYou can stuff some food in the channel but there is nothing special about it as a treat dispenser. It seems to lend itself best to smearing a treat, like peanut butter, inside.DurabilityIf you are looking at the Kong extreme toys your dog, like mine, is probably an aggressive chewer. That is why I give this toy four stars overall. It has lasted 6 monts and while there are clear scratch and teeth marks my labradoodle has not pulled off much of the rubber at all. The rubber is very tough and withstands repetitive chewing. A few small pieces have come off but generally it's proved reassuringly resilient.ConclusionIt's not the most inspsiring toy but you can engage a dog with it and they may spent some down time chewing on it. The best thing it that it's resilient and that provides reassurance that they are unlikely to hurt themselves.

My dog normally isn’t fussed by toys (only balls) however she would wander around the house every day looking for this and then spend time nibbing it! Good size for her and she can easily fit it in her mouth and carry it around! She’s approx 26kg

Be aware that the measurements stated in the product description include the packaging card that the item comes attached to! The ring is not 18cm in diameter (as the measurements suggested) - it's actually 11cm in diameter and not suitable for the size of my dog.Yes I can return it - but at my cost.

Meu shih-tzu de 7kg destrói absolutamente tudo que coloca na boca. Já detonou TODOS os brinquedos, uns 5 pares de havaianas, almofadas, bichos de pelúcia, cordas, roupas, etc. Eu precisava de um brinquedo realmente resistente pra conseguir controlar a ansiedade dele. Depois de muito pesquisar e ler os comentários, resolvi comprar esse pneuzinho e, meu Deus, que compra certeira!!! Já vamos pra terceira semana de uso diário e ele continua intacto e meu cachorro AMA o brinquedo. E ele tenta destruir, viu? Morde com vontade, mas o produto realmente é de excelente qualidade e tem o tamanho perfeito pra ele. Recomendo muito!!!
