Very nice, nostalgic old-fashioned glass candy jar
I bought this to make a candy jar as a holiday gift for a colleague -- I have my own that's proven to be quite popular at work, so I figured she'd like one of her own. The item shipped quickly, is quality made and arrived in great shape (I was worried since it's made of glass). Plus the size was perfect for what I was using it for -- envisioning how much candy could be stuffed into a large cardboard carton of milk helped me understand the capacity when shopping around.Please note the lid is metal, not plastic with silver paint, and it fits a little loosely on top of the jar opening which is great since all candies are individually wrapped, however, this might not work out so well with unwrapped cookies and snacks. All in all, I was able to fill the jar with 2+ lbs of candy and my co-worker was thrilled with her Holiday gift.I am very pleased with this product!!
