Generous supplies - Quick assembly
The kit is for 6 snowflakes, but I made 7 with lots of beads left over. The instructions are very clear. Completed all 7 in one evening and am very pleased with the results. They make nice little gifts or wrapping trim, as well as tree ornaments. Will definitely purchase another kit next season.
Simple and pretty
I really enjoy the beadery kits, I do believe that this might have been my third or fourth one that I have completed and I'm very happy with the results! I always change some tiny detail about the kit to make it better for me however this one included absolutely all the pieces for me to make six snowflakes. If I was able to find extra white pipe cleaners I could make another set out of the leftover beads. A ton of beads were busted but that still left me with enough to make my six. I have purchased other kits where the supplies fell short and all you need to do is contact the company and request the additional supplies. It takes them about 2 weeks to arrive to your home.For the cost the finished product is outstanding. I would not be able to find the supplies to make these on my own for any less. The beads of plastic and of course the pipe cleaners are just regular pipe cleaners. I've used mine on my Christmas tree for ages and they still look sparkly and lovely. No one knows you pay so little for them
Awesome time spent w/ kids making a great quality ornament!
Pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Had a few broken beads but more than enough beads leftover for two more snowflakes.(need to purchase pipe cleaners for the extras) Crafted with kids ages 11 & 13. Easy enough for the younger. Needed a pair of scissors, needle nose pliers for the ends and hot glue gun. Surprised how the white color on the pipe cleaner does not show through on the finished ornament w/ exception of top loop. Measures 3” from point to point. Took about an hour to complete the whole project.Tip: Keeping your beads taut and towards the center while gluing the last #4 bead on each stem allows the ornament to be more symmetrical to obtain the snowflake shape.
Quick and easy, fun and pretty
Easy to make - I'm not very adept with small crafts, and have no experience beading, but these use pipe cleaners and require less dexterity. They went together quickly, and the product had extra beads so that the ones which were faulty weren't a problem (a few individual beads were broken or didn't have patent holes in the centers, but there were plenty of extra to make up for those and still have extra). It requires small wire snips, a small needle nose type or other beading pliers, and a small volume of craft glue to complete this project.
