I found it particularly handy for topping up hard-to-reach areas in my car's engine bay. A well made device. Does the job and didn't take me long at all to pump 2 litres of oil into my gearbox. The trick is to pump it slowly at intervals. Just be careful when connecting and disconnecting the hose to the nipple.

I bought this to pump new automatic transmission fluid into the gearbox on my BMW. The filling/level plug (it's a "keep going until it overflows" type gearbox) is on the side of the box right under the centre of the car and not very accessible, so without a pump of some sort this is nearly impossible to do.Good points: It worked, I'd have struggled without it (a funnel and a long hose would be the other option, but I would've spilled more of my very expensive ATF). The aluminium nozzle is a nice touch, that helped me hook it into the box so I didn't have to hold it in place whilst I pumped in 7 L of fluid.Cons: Doesn't transfer much per stroke of the plunger, so it takes a while. The tube supplied is nowhere near long enough (it's about 50 cm) to reach under the car so I swapped it for about 4 m of 5 mm bore PVC tubing, which did the job.For this price I was quite happy and will use it again. If you buy this to do that sort of work under a car definitely get yourself a longer tube so you can sit next to the car whilst you're pumping.

So having never had to use a pump to fill a car with oil before (Really Honda!!) I must admit after regaining my lost sense of humour I was pleasantly surprised at how good and easy this pump did the job.I just wish I had googled the job before starting.i can see a million uses for these and they do not pump little bubbles into the stream of liquid (Bonus) so great for reverse bleeding (Honda hydraulics)Very recommended.
1.0 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy If You Want It To Last
I've had 3 of these now and they've all broke. First one arrived broken which should have been my first clue. 2nd broke within a week and the 3 broke after around 8 times used. Pictures are from the 2nd and 3rd ones. All I've used it for was filling gearboxes with oil. They also leak badly around the pump and it covers the outside of the bottle and gets oil everywhere. I would avoid this style of bottle no matter the brand as they'll all be made in the same place/factory in China. I will be trying to get a refund, but I don't hold out much hope.

Perfect pump for adding oil to gearbox and diffs which can be awkward to reach the fill hole. Hose with curved metal end means you can put it in the fill hole and doesn’t fall out.

Used this to replace a 500CC syringe that was being used to fill an MGB GT gearbox.1. It's finnicky to fill with oil.2. The hose provided is short and fairly stiff, I've cable tied it to make sure it doesn't leak .3. The metal u-bend is a bit of a weird choice and likely won't ever be needed or used.4. When you pump almost immediately the plunger brings oil up which leaks and trickles back into the bottle through the breather hole on the lid.5. There's a breather hole on the lid! Don't tip the bottle when it's filled (in case that wasn't obvious) be wary of putting anything near the top that might contaminate whatever you're filling.All in all after one use, the job is quicker and lower effort but... I doubt this will hold out long term a little expensive for the quality.
Perfekt for tight spots
With this i change the gear box oil without taking apart my minicar. the metal part fit perfect while pumping in the oil.
Ottima per l'hobbistica
Come già scritto da altri utenti per poter svuotare il litro di liquido contenuto serviranno moltissime pompate, senza però particolare forza. L'ho utilizzato per l'olio del cambio automatico e devo dire che sono molto soddisfatto, non ha perso una goccia d'olio ed ha funzionato benissimo. Naturalmente solo per lavori hobbistici e per uso santuario. Un professionista impazzirebbe 🤣
Pompe pratique
Utilisée pour faire le remplissage du pont et coupleur haldex d'un système quattro, le petit embout en métal s'avère très pratique et est adapté à la taille restreinte des orifices de remplissage des organes sur cette voiture. temps de pompage assez long car la pompe n'expluse qu'assez peu de fluide à chaque cycle mais pas de souci avec une 75W90 ou l'huile de couplage spécifique Haldex.Pour une boîte dont les orifices permettent l'utilisation d'une grosse seringue à huile, préférer la seringue à huile.Bonne qualité de construction et conception pratique

Not practical. Too stiff tubing
Tubing is way too stiff. It pulls on the plastic piece which broke within seconds. Useless...
