5.0 out of 5 stars Compact style, PS2 I used it for emergency recovery of my home windows PC
What I have used this product for is that all the USB drivers on my windows 7 crashed so I needed a PS2 keyboard. This product is perfect for what I wanted to try and recover and repair my system where a USB keyboard no longer functions. Simply plug into the back of the PC using the GreenIt is a lovely size as smaller than a keyboard with calculator pad built in. still had the standard essential keys that you need. For me this was a great utility product and I could also use it for day to day home office work - typing letters and emails it is great :) Just the calculator pad is not included on the right hand side as usual so for doing accounts number crunching it would not be the best but obviously you cannot have it both way.Nice light keys to the touch.Product was delivered without any damage and no recorded faults since I bought itOverall very pleased with my purchase and got my out a technical problem with my PCVery good.
5.0 out of 5 stars For what it is, it's great.
For what this keyboard is, it's actually really good. It's a basic membrane board with no frills, but boasts a more compact size due to lacking a numpad and squishing some keys to make it smaller than a tenkeyless (TKL) keyboard. The end result for the layout is that it is a little odd, but something that I can easily get used to. For example, the End key is right next to the up arrow - print-screen is above backspace and so on. The right shift key is smaller than usual to make space for the arrow keys. The spacebar is smaller too.I would have to say that the only issue I have is that you have to be a little heavy-handed when typing to get the keys to push the membrane down. This is to be expected. I do like the older style non-chiclet / island key style layout though, I'm not much of a fan of chiclet keyboards on desktops.Overall, for the price I think it's pretty good. It does lack adjustable feet though - or any feet at all aside from little rubber ones to stop it from sliding about - so bare that in mind. It has a slight raised inclination.
4.0 out of 5 stars good keyboard, but keys fainted
I like this keyboard, nice size, but some keys are almost completed faded. I bought a previous model from the same brand and keys didn't fade
5.0 out of 5 stars Robust and great to use
I bought this to use with a MacBook with a damaged keyboard while awaiting a replacement. It worked very well - size-wise, it fits on top of my MacBook, it is solidly built and satisfying to use. It might be better if the cable was attached at the side, rather than almost centrally at the back, but that's a small quibble. I would definitely recommend this great value product; if there is a bluetooth version I would also try that next time.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good compact keyboard
I've had this keyboard less than 24 hours, so my review is only based on short term usage. I was a little unsure about ordering this based on some of the past negative reviews, but decided to take a chance. I ordered the 409H model.I wanted a smaller keyboard that, with the main alphanumeric section centred in front of me for wrist comfort, didn't extend too far to the right with the cursor key and numpad sections, forcing my mouse to be placed further away and making me reach for it. This keyboard is perfect in that respect. It seems as sturdy as any other plastic keyboard I've had from the likes of Logitech or Microsoft. The keys are low profile, but not chiclet like a laptop, and the letter keys are the same size and spacing as on a full size keyboard. Some of the modifier keys (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Win) and the space bar are necessarily reduced in size to allow the compact layout. It might take a little time to form the muscle memory to hit these reliably. The top casing has a nice glossy black "piano" finish.I got my first one for using at work, where I have two computers on my desk and need to frequently switch between two keyboards. Having a smaller keyboard means I do less twisting my upper body from side to side to switch between them, which will keep the Health and Safety people happy. I've got a second one on order to replace the other keyboard.
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, a good small, membrane keyboard.
Got tired of having issues with 75% mechanical boards, but normal membrane boards are hard to find in small sizes. This is just a USB membrane keyboard, that's it. It should last for a very long time, and it is very compact.
