Galvanisation is process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel in order to prevent rusting. Zinc coatings prevent corrosion of the protected metal by forming a physical barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode even if this barrier is damaged.

Used to fix fence boards to 15ft section of fence. Approx 200 nails in the bag and plenty for the job. Quality good but bent a few when I hit knots in fence rail. Much easier to get these delivered within a couple of days rather than trek a few miles to the local DIY store and cheaper too.
