The handles are made from poplar wood. As there are lots of brushes in this set, they can be used once and thrown away if you are using non-water based paints, glue or materials that are hard to clean. If you are using these for water-based paints, they can easily be washed out and used again.

    These brushes are not great quality and do not deliver a highend finish, leaving hairs in paintwork... that being said they do make great disposable brushes for texture and dirty jobs. They are cheap to buy so ideal for throw aways.
