Audi A5 2015 diesel diagnosed with EGR fault. I tried Forte additive which used to be the best and it cleared it for a week but kept coming back. Tried this and it cleared it very fast and has not come back. Saved me a ton of money (quote for new EGR valve was over £1000!). I'll use this regularly every 6 months. Top product.

I bought this to add to my Toyota RAV diesel after the latest service. I used it purely as a preventative measure to help clean the system.It has a good length neck to help pour the contents into the tank.I have used this for over 7 years and I get good mileage and performance. Whether this is due to the product - who knows?

Use this in my 1.5 dci Renault Kadjar. It was running a little "rough" and lacking in power. Popped this into an empty tank at the pump, filled up, and after half a tank the pickup was much better, idling was smoother, mpg was back up in the 60s compared to low 50s. Very happy, will use this regularly.

I normally use Wynns system 3 cleaner for the wife's 2014 S-Max and i have never had any issues. Decided to give this a try as it was a good price and read a lot of reviews stating it works wonders.With the Wynns product i would normally go to the petrol station and add the product just before filling the tank. I tried this with this product but could not get it to go into the tank. Ford's typically have a capless filler (no fuel cap just a flap that is pushed back by the nozzle during refuel) With the wynns product the bottle mimicked the fuelling nozzle and opened the flap. For some reason the STP product would not open the flap even though it looked similar to the wynns bottle. As a result most of the product went on the floor whilst i was trying to get it into the tank. I had to locate the adaptor to get what was left in the bottle into the tank.I will stick with the Wynns product in the future.

I turned my car on and noticed the dreaded engine light. After a faulty EGR valve was diagnosed and replaced I thought all was fixed. A week later the engine light appeared again. After it was looked into further, my 4 year old 30k miles Diesel Mini was found to be blocked with carbon and my exhaust pressure sensor pipe was completely blocked, which was also what clogged up the EGR valve too. I always try and use the premium fuel and take it on long runs at high revs to clear everything out but this had obviously not worked.I researched for a while to compare different additives that would stop this problem from coming back and I finally chose STP ultra diesel system cleaner. It states it is a 5 in 1 and it helps to save fuel, restore peak performance, cleans deposits, reduces wear and inhibits corrosion.I waited until I needed to fill up my fuel and, before filling, poured the whole bottle into the tank to allow it to mix easily when the diesel was filled up. I then took my car for a trip to allow the cleaner to start working in the car although it doesn’t say that you need to do that.I haven’t had any further problems yet and that was a year ago now but it took 4 years for the problems of the carbon build up to show. The box states that you should add a bottle to the tank every 4000 miles so I am going to follow this and time will tell to see if it does what it says it will. I am hopeful as there are many positive online reviews and videos for this product. I am not waiting until I have a problem again and would rather be proactive in trying to stop deposits damaging my car.Hopefully the carbon will either be slowed down or even stopped and I will update this review if I have any further carbon problems with the car.

Ottimo prodotto STP una garanzia
Uso da parecchi anni questo multi pulitore e devo dire che è uno dei pochi prodotti di questo tipo che funziona veramente il mio motore diesel ha 170000 km e fa un pò di fumo solo se ci spingo forte e dopo i 3000 giri però bisogna usarlo costantemente io lo metto ogni 15000 usando anche il prodotto da aggiungere all'olio motore. STP è uno dei pochissimi produttori di additivi che li testa in pista prima di immetterli sul mercato!

Come da offerta d'acquisto. Prezzo concorrenziale. Consegna effettuata nei termini. Venendo all'aspetto "tecnico": non ho notato consumi inferiori (è anche vero che il clima è rigido e che tengo accesi plurimi accessori che fanno lievitare di per sé il consumo di carburante) né maggiore brillantezza (la mia vettura ha già 190 cavalli...). Confido nella pulizia e maggior lubrificazione di iniettori e altre parti meccaniche in movimento, di cui, ovviamente, non posso conoscere lo stato d'usura.

PREMESSAHo una ford fiesta del 2009 che va a gpl/benzina. Ogni sei mesi circa inserisco un comune additivo per il gas come questo (copiate e incollate il link su google per aprirlo): amzn.to/3sirEvxPer tenere pulito l’impianto gpl poiché NON è raro incontrare problemi di iniettori sporchi. Ricordo che l’inserimento dell’additivo nel serbatoio del gpl deve avvenire quando quest’ultimo è completamente vuoto.Fatta questa piccola premessa veniamo al prodotto in questione.FUNZIONAMENTOQuesta volta ho deciso di acquistare un prodotto che mi andasse a pulire (o almeno si spera) un po' tutto l’impianto della mia auto. STP sappiamo essere un’azienda leader nel settore e questo prodotto “ultra 5 in 1” è il migliore di tutta la gamma. Volendo fare una pulizia completa ho pensato di prendere il meglio.In pratica pulisce tutto il sistema di alimentazione eliminando tutti i depositi accumulati. Inoltre, stando a quanto dichiara la casa madre, contiene degli inibitori della corrosione che proteggono il motore e creano una sorta di patina a livello dei cilindri per ridurre l’attrito.L’azienda consiglia di utilizzare questo prodotto ogni 6500km. Onestamente mi sembra un po' troppo eccessivo rispettare questi km, probabile che entri in gioco il fattore marketing e vendita.APPLICAZIONEVoglio segnalare due casi che sono accaduti durante l’applicazione del prodotto sulla mia auto:- Tutto il contenuto della bottiglia va applicato dopo aver fatto un rifornimento di 50-60 litri di benzina. Nel mio caso, ad esempio, ho un serbatoio che contiene al massimo 40 litri perciò, se siete nella mia stessa situazione, potreste pensare di usare metà prodotto.- La mia auto (e penso molte altre) hanno un sistema di sicurezza a livello del serbatoio che fa aprire lo sportellino per il fornimento soltanto se si avvicina un qualcosa di diametro simile a quella pompa di benzina. In poche parole se prendete la bottiglia e premete sullo sportellino per versare il contenuto del serbatoio questo non è detto che si aprirà e tutto il contenuto cadrà a terra. Inoltre, anche se la bottiglia ha il collo lungo potrebbe non essere sufficiente ad arrivare nel serbatoio.In conclusione consiglio di procurarsi un tubo o qualcosa di simile che apra lo sportellino e faccia da guida per l’inserimento del prodotto.RIFLESSIONIOnestamente dopo il trattamento non ho testato e misurato se i consumi di carburante si sono ridotti oppure non ho prestato attenzione se il motore fosse più performante. Non mi interessava tutto ciò. Ho acquistato questo prodotto anche se non avevo problemi di efficienza ma l’ho preso soltanto a scopo preventivo. Non so se il mio impianto è sporco o pulito ma dopo anni di utilizzo della macchina credo che un trattamento di questo tipo si possa anche concedere.Potrei anche non aver notato miglioramenti perché la mia auto stava messa bene però, ripeto, le auto non vanno trascurate.
