Amazingly, our painter/decorator cracked three of these, by over-tightning, I assume! Looked everywhere in DIY stores to find replacements with no joy. Wife came home with new lamp shades and gave me grief, so I looked here. Lo and behold, I find these. Happy wife, happy life!

This collar to secure the lampshade on a light fitting is a part that needs replacement after a while because it becomes brittle from the heat of the bulb (even energy-saving bulbs). They crumble as you replace a bulb.So it's useful to have access to this part alone, thanks to Bolo.Simply screw on the replacement collar.
