I bought this as a Christmas gift so I can't give it an in-depth review. What I can say briefly is that it looked great and I could test all the buttons and everything worked perfectly. I have since had news that the baby loved it and is fascinated with the lights and sounds so it was a great gift.

4.0 out of 5 stars Engaging Learning Toy with Minor Flaw: Fisher-Price Pretend Tablet Toddler Learning Toy Review

    L. · 6 April 2024

The Fisher-Price Pretend Tablet Toddler Learning Toy has been a hit with my little one, providing hours of entertainment and educational fun. However, as much as she loves it, there’s one notable flaw that’s starting to affect its performance.Firstly, let’s focus on the positives. This learning toy offers a wide range of engaging activities and features that have captured my toddler’s attention from the moment she laid eyes on it. The colorful buttons, lights, and sounds make learning enjoyable, encouraging exploration and discovery.Unfortunately, despite its initial appeal, I’ve noticed a recurring issue with the toy’s functionality. Over time, some of the buttons have started to get stuck, causing the toy to repeat itself or produce random noises after pressing a different button. For example, pressing the music button might trigger a random letter noise after a few seconds, which can be confusing and disruptive for my little one’s playtime. While this flaw is certainly frustrating, especially considering the enjoyment my toddler derives from the toy, it hasn’t dampened her enthusiasm for it entirely. She still loves playing with it, but I find myself needing to intervene more frequently to reset the toy when the buttons get stuck.Overall, the Fisher-Price Pretend Tablet Toddler Learning Toy is a fantastic learning tool that offers plenty of engagement and educational value for young children. However, the recurring issue with stuck buttons detracts from its overall performance and reliability. If Fisher-Price addresses this flaw, the toy would undoubtedly be a top recommendation for parents looking to encourage early learning and exploration in their little ones.
