Milled these oats extra fine, so they go soft and creamy immediately. The fruits chopped really small, so the sweetness spreads through the milk, making a kind of fruity porridge. I discovered Bircher Muesli when I had it in a hotel in Cornwall for breakfast. I asked the staff how it was made and they told me to add natural yoghurt, apple juice, honey and milk to the muesli. We have been having it for breakfast ever since and it's really delicious. My neighbour gave me some home grown raspberries a few days ago and I added a few of those which made it even more gorgeous!
