They are easy to use for a prick of blood i use mine because im type 2 diabetic..just screw the top off then press the top , done , no fiddly pens for me anymore ,..i dont think iv got tuff fingers so i think they would be fine on a child...

Sometimes I can't draw blood with the usual lancets so I thought I'd give these a try.You twist the cap until it comes free then push the exposed white bit against your finger, then in my case jump about 2 feet out my chair.These lancets could get blood out a stone!They work best on your thumb or fingers with thicker skin as you can't adjust them and I did get a fright the first time I tried them.They do work every time so I'm really pleased with them and I will definitely buy them again.
