Visionace Max - Visionace Max provides the maximum support in the Visionace range, combining the Visionace Original multinutrient tablets with high quality Omega-3 and Red Krill oil capsules containing additional Lutein Esters and Zeaxanthin, in a convenient dual pack.Visionace tablets include a comprehensive range of micronutrients, including vitamins A, B2 and zinc which contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. The importance of Omega-3 fatty acids Omega-3 fatty acids are a special class of polyunsaturated fatty acids which are commonly found in plant seed oils, nut oils and oily fish such as sardines and salmon. A large number of scientific studies worldwide have highlighted the multiple benefits of dietary Omega-3 fatty acids in areas as diverse as heart, brain, and normal vision. The two most researched Omega-3 fatty acids are Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision1. The Red Krill oil difference Red Krill oil is a special source of Omega-3 with a high concentration of marine phospholipids, so may be better utilised in the body. The DHA in Visionace Max is derived from a special combination of both Omega-3 Fish oil and Red Krill oil; DHA is scientifically proven to help maintain normal vision1. The role of DHA in the retina Omega-3 fatty acids play an important structural and functional role in the retina, the part of the eye that detects light. DHA is a component of photoreceptor cells which are responsible for converting light into nerve signals. Photoreceptors contain the highest concentration of DHA of any cell in the body, with DHA accounting for over 50% of the total fatty acid content2 3. Adequate levels of DHA must be maintained for the retina to continue to function properly and to maintain normal vision)4 5. The retinal cells are continually being renewed, so a constant supply of Omega-3 fatty acids and in particular DHA is required6 7. Since these cannot be made by the body a lack of these in the diet can have a direct effect on levels in the retina8. Fortunately increasing dietary intake can help to restore retinal Omega-3 levels9. Omega-3 fatty acids are now being recognised as being essential for normal eye health from before birth continuing into old age10. Lutein Esters Lutein makes up the dominant pigment in the retina which absorbs visible blue light. Visionace Max provides a combined total of 34mg of Lutein Esters. Zeaxanthin Zeaxanthin is a structural component of the macular which is the central area of the retina, containing the highest density of photoreceptors. Zeaxanthin cannot be made in the body, so must come from dietary sources, such as eggs, broccoli and spinach, as well as spirulina which can be added to smoothies. Protection of cells The photoreceptors in the retina are particularly vulnerable to the effects of UV rays in sunlight which can result in cellular damage11 12. Because of this, sunglasses with a high Eye-Sun Protection Factor (E-SPF) are always recommended to reduce the exposure of the eye to excessive light and harmful UV rays. Visionace Max provides vitamins C and E, plus zinc and selenium which contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. I bought this vitamin pack because there is AMD in my family and I want to safeguard my eyes and general health as much as I can within our current knowledge.There is some evidence that the use of Krill oil, Xeaxanthin and Bilberry may help eye health, and these are contained in a small red capsule which is easy to take. The rest of the vitamins and minerals, 23 of them, are contained in a slim yellow tablet, also easy to swallow.The vitamins arrived super-fast and are priced a little cheaper than Boots, so if you have Bolo Prime it's a small saving on a quality product.I've been taking them for two months now and after about ten days I began to feel more energetic. My skin looks very clear and my hair so soft and shiny that people keep asking me what I've done to it. Also I'm sure my eyesight is sharper generally. I left a week's gap between buying a second pack and quite definitely felt the loss of them. The long-term effects cannot possibly be assessed just yet, but I'm pleased with these supplements.

Bought this more my father who has glaucoma for over 3 years. His eye pressure has always been in the 20s and has to go for regular check ups. The doctor insists he should have an operation to help relieve pressure as the laser surgery has not reduced it enough. He took this vitabotics max for two months and his eye pressure has gone down to 13 and 16 for the first time in years. He also says he has improved vision. This product has worked miracles for him as he has tried numerous eye drops to reduce pressure. I am also taking these as i have high pressure but not diagnosed with glucoma. This should hopefully prevent it.

Trust me. This works! I stare at my iPad and MacBook all days. The supplements have been very effective to keep my eyes from feeling dry or tired. I usually take them with breakfast. I have tried Visionace original and its effect is no where near this ultimate vitamins.

I was prescribed some eye drops by the optician (dry eyes after pregnancy), but I thought why aren't they suggesting me to take vitamins. So I ordered these because I believe that healing internally is better than applying stuff on top. And soon after taking these, my eyes became clear and not itchy anymore. I finished the whole course and I see the difference that I need to order more :)

These are easy to swallow, and good value for money. Only time will tell how effective they are but together with a good multivitamin for men, my partner does notice he feels better in himself.
