5.0 out of 5 stars Great colour results
First time trying this product and had a few items to dye so took my time reading instructions & setting up. Had lovely weather so did the dying outside it was a bit of a faf getting water to the right temperature but doable. All items took the colour well and look great as good as new. I would use again.

Simple to use & very good outcome
4.0 out of 5 stars You may not get the colour expected if the material is a blend of different fabrics
I used this dye on a heavy mixed fabric dress. It was a horrible buff colour and although it didn't come out navy it did dye it very well and evenly to a really nice mocha colour. Having only used washing machine dyes before I would certainly buy this make again and use it in the bath as I could lay the dress flat out.
3.0 out of 5 stars Sort Of A Denim Colour
I dyed an old garden seat cover, which had been dark blue, but faded. I put in about half the water to try and get it very dark. Overall its ok, not very dark but better than it was. I would describe it as a slighly faded denim colour, if you want very dark blue, this is NOT it.

Does the job
1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute rubbish
Followed the instructions to the letter to dye 2 small cotton cushion covers that were already navy blue and just needed a refresh. No difference whatsoever. Complete waste of time, water and salt. Will stick to Dylon in future. At least that works
2.0 out of 5 stars Navy dye didn't dye navy!
I often dye clothing so I know what to expect with different colours & fabrics. I bought this dye because it was the right colour & for the right fabric (wool). Sadly at the end of the dying wash my scarf came out very different from when it went in. The colour it did pick up was a soft purply colour, certainly not navy blue! I was dying a scarf so it would go with more of my wardrobe & now I have a scarf which doesn't go with anything! Price reasonable is only plus.

My Jacomo shorts had faded, especially on the front, purchased Rit Dye Powder-Navy Blue, followed the instructions, which are very clear, worked perfectly, very happy with the dying process, and the result.

Genuine Product. Works as advertised.
Product works as advertised. I've personally used it to dye t-shirts, cotton shirts and pants. Product does stick to the fabric thoroughly. But on subsequent washes you are expected to loose some of the dye as it is to be expected. Personally, price is on the high end of the scale.
