This is an important step – this is where you will be rinsing the hair dye particles out of your hair. Re-wash with the remaining amount of buffer and rinse for a further 5-10 minutes.     I have used colour removers before, I hadn't tried this brand before I was a bit sceptical, some of the reviewers rate this highly & others said it didn't work on simple colours & I have been dying my hair black for a few years now. I mixed the two bottles together, applied to my hair, put a shower cap on waited 30minutes then rinsed for 5minutes, used the buffer shampoo waiting 2 minutes then rinsed another 5minutes, I then added a bit of conditioner & rinsed again. Totally shocked me my hair wasn't dried out! EVERY colour remover I used in the past really dried my poor hair out, I was not looking forward to this but it honestly didn't happened with this product. I didnt really notice much scent while using the product but when my hair dried I did get a whiff of the off egg smell so the next day I used my first protein conditioner & the smell went. So the big surprise is this removed my black dye & left me with a medium brown. I honestly don't even mind the colour, it has taken all the colour out of my 'whites' (ok greys!) but I can live with this for a week, I have bleach ready to lift the colour a little before trying my next new colour. I am overall impressed with this & will gladly use again when I get fed up of my future colour :) I have asked 4 hairdressers & they all told me to wait 7 - 10 days before using bleach or I run the risk of my hair breaking off so I am lucky that I don't mind the colour this lifted my hair to. Every other day I am using a protein conditioner my hair doesn't feel or look like it needs it I just want it in superb condition for when I use the bleach this weekend. The rinsing felt boring but I did it while in the shower & had hubby do the stopwatch for me so wasn't too bad just a little boring, worth it for the overall result this has done.

    I’ve used many different hair colour removers and hair dyes with no issues in the slightest, this I was not expecting.After covering just a couple of strands of hair I had a toxic reaction and couldn’t breathe, this isn’t an exaggeration as I wouldn’t leave a bad review unless it was absolutely necessary (I never leave a review) and this was an extreme health issue where it left me terrified with nobody around to help. If you have asthma please DO NOT buy this product. I am a very healthy person who is active with no health conditions at all or any allergies. I have a high tolerance to smells and chemicals and wouldn’t have DREAMED I would ever have this reaction. Not only did I have this reaction but the product didn’t lift the slightest shade and my hair snapped. I have healthy hair that I had been growing and professionally conditioning for a year and wanted to strip away the colour that had grown out. My lungs have definitely been damaged, my hair is damaged, and I would like a refund. Please don’t risk buying this.

    I did what what so many others on here have doneUsed a 'dark brown' hair dye only for it to be basically jet blackIt did not suit me in the slightest and I didn't know what to doAfter Google how to remove hair dye I learned there where actually products for that specific purpose! (I'm a tomboy with zero knowledge 😆)I read reviews for this one and two things stuck out1) I learned red dye is the hardest to remove2) you could leave it on for less time to remove less dyeWith those two facts combined I was prepared for a red undertone (red dye removal benefiting from the longer rather than shorter expsure)And thats what I gotI did the snip test (lock hair in a ramekin with drop of the 2 liquids mixed together on top)After 10 mins I rinsed that and was satisfied enough to use it on my headIt has a smell but not overly strongI used far less than a full bottle (fairly thin shoulder length hair)Waited 10 ish mins, rinsed for good few mins, used half the buffer, waited 1 min, rinsed, used other half the buffer, rinsed, used some of the conditioner that came with the dark brown hair dye (fearing the chemicals would turn my hair to straw), waited couple mins, rinsedI'm so happy I bit the bullet, it is red but not ginger and not black, I feel more like me again and my hair is as soft as it was beforeLesson learned no more 'dark brown' hair dye for me!

    The products should have 1 2 3 bottles but...I got 2bottles of number3 @ one number 2 therefore I have no developer in thre box a.nd can't use it

    Ive used this product on several occasions and it does what it says on the tin. I've used it on permanent dyed black and darkest brown hair and it has worked effectively. It has lightened my hair ever so slightly above what I'd say is my natural colour but it tends to fix itself over time and is barely noticeable.People moan so much about the "rotten egg" smell and it almost deterred me from buying it. To be fair it just has a weird chemically smell which is nowhere as near as bad as the ammonia smell that comes off hair dye! (Which I guess you've used if you're buying this...)It is a bit annoying to use. You apply it as you would a hair dye and leave for 30 mins then rinse for 5-10 minutes. Then you apply half the bottle of buffer and leave for 1 minute, rinse for 5 minutes, apply other half of buffer, rinse for 5 minutes. Time consuming and a lot of rinse but I guess if you like standing in the shower that's fine. It's also probably a lot easier, cheaper and faster than using a hairdresser.When you've finished your hair will feel a bit like straw. I pack a load of conditioner on my hair, leave for a few minutes then rinse and that tends to correct the issue.Anyway, my final advice is don't but this product from Bolo (currently £7.99) as its far cheaper elsewhere. I bought the exact same item from Savers for £2.99.Hope this helps, it worked for me several times and I will use again if I dye my hair and then decide to remove it.

    L’odeur est horrible mais je dois dire que le produit est ultra efficace, mon rouge qui ne dégorgeait plus, j’ai essayé plusieurs choses avant… mais enfin il est parti et en 30min ! J’adore le résultat 😊

    Malgré le mode emploi que j'ai suivis à la lettre, n'a pas du tout marché sur cheveux colocation châtain clair, et maintenant avec du rouge en plus suite au produit sensé éliminer la couleur ! et en plus abime les cheveux ! à fuir !!!

    Ce produit a été super efficace sur mes cheveux pour ôter une couleur noire tenace que j’avais faite. Mes cheveux n’ont pas du tout été abîmés. L’odeur part vite après un shampoing, pour ma part. J’en suis très satisfaite :) Habituée à une autre marque, je ferai désormais confiance à celle-ci aussi.

    Je suis ravie de ce produit !Ayant depuis 8 mois les cheveux rouges j’ai voulus me débarrassé de ma couleur et ce produit fait très bien l’affaire.Voici les résultats après seulement une utilisation et je trouve cela concluant !Avantage : moins cher que le color B4 et fonctionne tout aussi bienInconvénient : odeur d’œufs pourris qui reste sur les cheveux assez longtemps...
