5.0 out of 5 stars So quiet!!!

    I. · 19 September 2020

I have three of these Noctua fans in a custom-built PC (Ryzen 7 3800X + 4 x large SSDs) for use in a music studio where background noise level needs to be very low. I cannot get over how quiet that are. When running normally, they are nearly silent - and that is without the noise reducing cable (supplied with each fan). They are not cheap but you have to pay for quality and these are certainly quality fans!Very pleased and would definitely recommend if fan noise is a concern!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very quiet case fans.

    G.T. · 31 March 2016

Very quiet fans with moderate airflow.I got these to replace the stock fans in my Fractal Designs midi case which were getting a bit rattly. An easy swap using the elastomer spike mounts. Results are impressive; very quiet indeed. Airflow is less than before but case temps are no higher, even under heavy load. Not cheap but a quality product.

5.0 out of 5 stars I actually quite like the colour scheme they use

    S. · 7 May 2015

Bought to replace some factory Fractal Design fans. Using two at the front as intakes with one at the rear as an exhaust. Despite what a lot of people say about Noctua fans, I actually quite like the colour scheme they use. They move a lot of air for the speed they are at while remaining inaudible apart from a faint air rushing sound. They can definitely be used for radiators and such as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars ugly but very quiet

    A.R. · 2 January 2025

ugly but slowly I am replacing all the fan with Noctua. if you don't care about the price and you want a very quiet fan, this is the best I could find. I used 800rpm and from one meter you can not hear if it is on or off. I did not use the reduction (resistor) to move to 650 because it is already super quiet.

5.0 out of 5 stars this is the best fan in my opinion you can buy

    S. · 8 June 2016

Virtually silent at full speed 11.9 dB(a) while still running at 800 speed and providing a airflow of 79.8 (m3/h). So to put it another way..this is the best fan in my opinion you can buy. One at front and one as a exhaust and the noise and temperatures both decrease brilliantly. Also..in the box you get a extension lead to ensure you can get power to it anywhere in your case and also a few speed control connectors if you want to slow it down from the top speed which with this make I never do as they are so quiet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beyond awesome!

    A.C. · 24 April 2018

These fans are beyond awesome. There is just no competition. Long lasting (7+ years) and ultra quiet. A little bit more expensive than the cheap Chinese fans, but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth their price, I highly recommend them!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Silent. Very, very quiet but clearly audible at several metres in a quiet room.

    E. · 9 March 2021

I installed in a Phnateks P500A case using the Ultra Low Noise adapter running power directly from the PSU (not via a motherboard fan header). My PSU and GPU both only run fans at medium to high load, and passive cool normally. My AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU cooler is stock, but fan controlled (motherboard) to be virtually inaudible - far quieter than this. The stock Phanteks case exhaust fan is far quieter than this, again almost inaudible, and runs from a speed controlled motherboard header. This fan is very quiet, I tested the pc at the side of the desk I was sitting at. It was very quiet but easily audible.I then went three to four metres away, on the other side of the desk from the fan. It was still very quiet, still obviously audible. This is a great fan, it shifts what seems like a lot of air, it is very quiet but it does make some noise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality Fan

    D.L. · 13 December 2015

Excellent quality - virtually silent in operation and worth that little extra money. I'm using this to ventilate a cabinet and it works perfectly.

    Worth the Wait

    C.d. · 12 June 2024

Yes it came three days late, who cares. I rarely write reviews but this one time I will. I am using this as an - external - fan I placed on top of my fanless Mini ATX PC to cool the surface a bit. (to usb port) Meaning, the fan actually sits on top of the machine and the machine is about 2 feet away from my keyboard. Reason I invested in a fanless PC is that I am particularly sensitive to mechanical noise. Can't hear this fan. I tried. I just cannot hear this thing. Not an excessive amount of air flow but silent. Not whisper quiet, silent. It does cool the internals of my machine a bit more, I placed the fan one inch above the vent, super nice build, and silent. Why did I not do that earlier ?

    Very quiet

    J. · 28 November 2023

I bought this to replace my old loud case fan. This fan is very quiet. You have to put your ear right beside it to hear anything.

    Good but pricey

    M. · 3 July 2024

It's silent and works as designed, still for only 800 max rpm 3 pin fan it's quite pricey.

    Los mejores

    J. · 27 April 2021
