5.0 out of 5 stars Great machine
Like it a lot especially when we have the family over. Plenty of fizzy drinks for the kids. Easy to use the kids think it's great. A lot cheaper than buying lots of coke and lemonade.
5.0 out of 5 stars As expected......
Bought this as a replacement for SodaStream machine we have had for a long time but had finally given up!It is used several times every day to make fizzy squash drinks for my better half because she doesn't like the taste of plain tap water. As expected, the performance is great. The other up-side is that it cuts down on the use of plastic bottles and you can make a drink as fizzy as you want!
4.0 out of 5 stars Tricky
This SodaStream does work at carbonation, although you’ve got to press the button for much longer than the directions say, at least twice as long. Like everything else, these machines aren’t what they used to be. It’s rather flimsy plastic, but it still does the job, you just have to work hard for it. I’m still glad I have it, as it saves buying plastic bottles at the store.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great
Great. Gives me the chance to use tap water instead of buying bottles from the supermarket. It’s difficult to get the correct bottles for the machine and they cost over £20 for 2. I looked for an adapter on here so I can use ordinary bottles, it leaks a bit but works. The only thing is that I can still taste the chlorine in water even though I mix it with diluting juice .

3.0 out of 5 stars Style and ease of use
It can be a bit fiddly to use and is not as sturdy as I expected quite flimsy really
5.0 out of 5 stars Having a SodaStream back in the kitchen feels like I have travelled back to the 80s.
We used to have a SodaStream when I was a child. I did look at them again about ten years ago, with a view of reducing the amount of plastic recycling I was creating, but the available syrups did not peak my interest. The SodaStream Jet was one of the featured Black Friday deals, so I took another look and was delighted to find out that those cheeky chaps at SodaStream have added so! many more 'proper' flavours. So this time around, it was a no brainer. The machine itself is very smart, and works perfectly, just as they always did. But it is the fact that I will no longer need to buy all those 2 litre plastic bottles that has made the renewed friendship with SodaStream that much sweeter.
1.0 out of 5 stars Bubble trouble
Instead of lugging 2 litre bottles of fizzy water home from the shops, why not make it at home with tap water and a Sodastream? It sounds like a sensible plan, doesn't it? Well, that's what I thought, so I invested in the machine, a spare cylinder (at an eye-watering £22!) and a couple of spare bottles. To cut a long review short, they are going back. The whole lot. After a couple of days experimentation, including reading Internet reviews and user comments to find out what I might have been doing wrong (nothing, it seems) what I was getting was a bottle of still pretty flat tap water. I tried cooling the water in the fridge beforehand (it helps water hold CO2, apparently). I checked the tightness of the brand new gas cylinder, I tried more and longer presses of the carbonation button but whatever I did the level of carbonation was, well, frankly pretty hopeless - less than I find in a bottle of supermarket fizzy water, in fact.To be fair, I didn't buy this to make flavoured drinks and maybe (only maybe) the use of syrup might allow the mix to hold more carbonation (though I don't see how). However, if you are looking for properly fizzy water to replace your Highland Spring or whatever your chosen brand is, then, judging from my experience, this just won't do it. Thank heaven for Bolo's super customer-friendly returns policy!
