I’m glad I purchased this. I did try one a few years back but gave up with it as I was a bit squeamish about inserting it/taking it out and thought it was a bit arduous but I’m glad I bought this & gave it another go and I much prefer this one. I love that this is organic and I feel like I’m doing something good for my body when I’m using it, no more irritation down there or smell. I sometimes can’t believe I even used tampons and pads for so long. I also love the little bag it comes in, it’s really handy - it’s all natural too. The packaging it comes in is very eco friendly too and contains all the info you need to use it and some about the company.The cup itself seems very sturdy and durable without being uncomfortable to use.If you’re new to menstrual cups and are undecided I’ll put a bit more detail that may help you. Putting this in will take some getting used to but I found after the third time of doing it I had it down, it will take some practice if you’re used to pads and/or tampons. The practicality and benefit to your vaginal health far outweigh any negatives of using this cup. I just do the C fold squeeze as I find it the easiest, it just comes naturally.. then I insert it at an angle, you will sort of naturally know which way to insert it for your body. The key is to relax, easier said than done but try to take a few deep breaths and relax your muscles. Once the angled side of the folded lip of the cup is in the rest will naturally follow and you can just gently push it in and you will feel it has opened up and is in place, sometimes you’ll hear a kind of suction, other times not. You’ll get to know when it’s in properly but if you’re unsure and want to check, just feel for the base and you’ll feel you can sort of squeeze it and feel the roundness of it and that it has opened up. The first time using it you may doubt that you’ve put it in correctly but it just opens up and settles naturally, don’t overthink it too much. If you’re having any trouble inserting it, I recommend using some Coconut oil on it (I use the Lucy Bee Extra Virgin Organic Raw brand) I find Coconut oil good to use as a moisturiser down there and it can be used as lube so as long as you’re not sensitive/allergic to it, I highly recommend it. Be careful though as it can make the cup super slippy and prone to flying out of your fingers. (I found this out the hard way 🤦♀️😭).Once it is in, you don’t have to worry all day & you don’t get that yucky feeling after a while like you do with tampons and especially pads. You can leave it in for considerably longer (12 hours!!) as well so you can just go about your day, it’s great. You’ll need to set aside a couple more minutes in the morning or whenever you’re putting it in than your would with a pad or tampon, but it gets easier & quicker each time you do it & the more you get used to it. Once it’s in, no more having to go to the toilet and change anything and I have only had a problem with leakage once when I had a really heavy flow day. How often you’ll need to change this will depend on your flow. But for me most of the time I keep it in for the full 12 hours which is so helpful especially if you have a busy day or are feeling like having a lazy day. I have noticed if I go for a wee & wipe I do see a slight bit of blood on the tissue but it’s no amount that is of any concern. In fact, if it wasn’t for cramps I could totally forget I was even on my period with this.I’ve also been swimming with this in numerous times with no issues, in fact it’s a god send for swimming/sauna/gym etc.Also there’s no issues with this when passing stools. You will feel a bit of pressure but imo this is much more preferable to blood gushing everywhere as you’re going and creating more of a mess to clean.Taking it out will also take some getting used to, you have to get the hang of it but there is a knack to it. I didn’t trim the stem & I’m glad I didn’t as I find it sits quite high up inside me so I would recommend trying it out before you decide to snip it. I locate the stem with my fingers and gently pull on it until I can feel the base of the cup. Sometimes I use both hands; one to pull the stem then one to squeeze the base so I can pull it out as your body will naturally keep it pretty suctioned in there. It can help to use your vaginal muscles to push it out, this makes it so much easier to get to & remove. Do this gently to avoid spills, it will take a few times to get used to the sensation of the lip part being pulled out as it is obviously considerably bigger than a tampon but once you get used to this it’s fine. Again I kind of pull this out gently at an angle and wiggle it out slowly. I find once I’ve pulled on the stem and I can feel the base nearer to the opening of my vagina I squeeze it gently and pull it out while squeezing as that way you can pull it out so the lip part is sort of folded like how it is when you insert it. If you just pull it straight out it’s going to be uncomfortable as it’s completely open and doing it this way will also control it so it doesn’t spill.Blood will get on your hands and spill over a little if it’s a particularly heavy flow day but after using this for a few cycles you’ll get to know what works for you and what to expect when you’re removing it. It will become like second nature, like riding a bike or driving a car.Once it’s out I recommend carrying some baby wipes and/or a bottle of water to rinse it if you’re out and about. Or even one of those portable bidets would be good. There is obviously a bit more prep that goes into using this, for example making sure your hands are really clean as they’re going inside you which obviously doesn’t happen with most tampons and pads & the taking out and rinsing part can get a little bit messy and may make some people who are squeamish a bit uncomfortable but you’ll get over that. And I promise the benefits will outweigh this. You can go all day without the annoying task of changing and disposing of pads and tampons, you’re reducing waste and doing something great for your health and peace of mind.All in all I’m so happy I bought this, it has made my period so much less of a hassle and I highly recommend it.Hope this helped 💖

So after finding out that the tampon companies are trying to poison all women; decided drastic steps had to be taken and ordered this, after watching some cup reviews and deciding it sounded like a good one.and well… it’s in!! 😂 I full expected to be hitting struggle street with the insertion; but it went in so easily and is so comfortable. Maybe in an hour I’ll regret these words; and maybe I’ll be looking like I’ve left a crime scene when it comes to take out time! But honestly; I’ll take it!

This is my third time buying one from this brand.I’ve tried other brands, but they were not as comfortable or leak proof as this one. This is just the perfect amount of soft and flexible to not feel it at all and it’s completely leak proof (until it’s full - I’ve had some days where I was bleeding heavily and when the cup is full it’ll definitely overflow).Only reason this is not one of those that it’ll last 10 years (like I’ve seen some brands promising) is because it stains. I’ve tried all the cleaning as suggested, I do the regular maintenance and all, but after a couple years, it’ll be all stained and gross and while it might be clean, it doesn’t feel like it and I just rather buy a new one.Now - I have hormone issues and in the past year I’ve had periods lasting non-stop for a full seven months - my use of these is HEAVY. So my use timing or issues with staining might just be a ME issue. Who knows. But I definitely recommend it in terms of day to day use and comfort.

Right then. I decided to go down the menstrual cup route as it was more Environmentally friendly and I didn't like the idea using Tampons anymore due to the amount of chemicals that are in them, and quite frankly, I didn't like having a tampon string dangling outside of body.Before I purchased the OrganiCup I spent hours trawling through U Tube looking at different reviews about which was the best cup to buy. I decided to buy the Organicup as quite a few experienced menstrual cup users said that they really liked it for a variety of reasons. However, they were ‘experienced’ and perhaps this is where I can’t get on with this cup.Now, the thing you really need to know about menstrual cups is that there are loads of different shapes and sizes to choose from to suit different body shapes. I kind of ignored this information and went for the OrganiCup as it was totally sold to me by the ladies reviewing it. This was a big error for me.Firstly, even just deciding upon which size to buy, I found confusing. I am 40 Years old and have had 2 children by elective C-Section, so I really couldn't decide weather I should get the A or B. Luckily, they were on offer, so I bought both.When they arrived, I was actually quite excited to test them out. Sad, I know. Some of the advice out there is to practice putting the cup in before your actually start your period. This I did, with what I thought, great success. I was feeling quite smug about this. However, fast forward a few days and when I tried to use it when I was actually on my period I had loads of problems. I found it nearly impossible to open it once it was inside me, then trying to reach it to take it out was hideous, and it leaked horribly. I could not go anywhere without using a pad, and as someone who HATES pads, I was definitely not enjoying my experience with the cup. I however, am not one for giving up so kept at it, and after 3 days, I actually had success with the cup and it didn't leak at all, hurray.However, I have now had a few periods and my relationship with the OrganiCup is not a good one. I have had lots of problems with it. It once took me nearly 30mins to put it in the right position and open it up. I have had problems with it leaking and once, to my horror, the cup had actually managed to completely turn upside down inside me. This, was not pleasant, AT ALL!That was the last straw for me, and as I really didn't want to go back to tampons, and as I've already said I really don't give up easliy, I scoured the internet once again to see what I was doing wrong, as I do feel user error could be a problem with this product.I happened upon a really good U Tube page called ‘Put a cup in it’ which allows you to take a quiz to find the correct menstrual cup for your body shape. After taking the quiz, I discovered that the OrganiCup was just the wrong shape for me, and this is the key when it comes to menstrual cups. We are all built differently, and until you actually take the plunge and give one a go, you're never going to really know if you have the right one for you, but please don't let this put you off.This is the most important thing about this review. The OrganiCup might be the best thing for lots of different people, however, for me and my body shape, it just wasn't right. I have now got a different menstrual cup which opens up easily and I have up to now, had no problems with it leaking. So if you are thinking about getting a cup, go for it, just do a bit research first as when you first start using one, it really is quite a learning curve, and you do have to give it time.My tips if you are thinking about getting one.1. Get yourself on the Internet and do a bit of research.2. Look at all of the different shapes and sizes. ‘Put a cup in it’ is a brilliant learning resource - it really helped me.3. Look at the different folds that you can use.4. It can be quite messy, if you don't like getting messy, this might not be for you.5. To clean the period blood from your cup, empty down the loo, give it a wipe with some toilet roll and then rinse it with cold water first, then hot, otherwise the cup will stain.6. Use a bit of lube on the cup to insert it, it really will make things easier for you.7. Once you get the knack of using a cup, they are awesome things. You can pop one in first thing in the morning and not have to worry about it until after you get in from work.8. You don't have to worry about taking anything else out with you.9. There is no extra waste being dumped in the Environment.10. There are no nasty tampon strings dangling out of your body.Even though the OrganiCup was not for me, I would still recommend it, it just wasn't right for my body shape.

Ik gebruik de cup al een vijftal jaar en ben hier zeer tevreden van! Deze heb ik gekocht ter vervanging van mijn eerste cup, die dus al die jaren al perfect meeging. In de nieuwe is er intussen een aanpassing gedaan aan de samenstelling, en ik vind deze eigenlijk nu zelfs beter. Hij kuist beter, zit comfortabeler en het eindje om hem aan vast te nemen is steviger. Ik raad deze aan iedereen aan. Je bespaart je zo veel geld en afval!

Çok hızlı geldi , kutu , ürün ve paket herşey temizdi , ürün plastik kokmuyor . Tedirgin olduğum şeylerden biri buydu . Kullanması konusunda çok yorum yapamıyorum biraz zorlandım , baya zorlandım . Ama her şeyin bir alışma süreci vardır . Sağlık ve temiz bir çevre için değer.
Mi primera copa
Esta fue mi primera (y actual) copa menstrual que compré hace casi 3 años ya. Me pareció una muy buena marca por su compromiso con el medio ambiente ya que su packaging era free plastic. Aunque me daba mucho miedo dar el paso a usar la copa, era algo que llevaba resonando en mi mucho tiempo y que me apetecía mucho probar. Así que me decidí por esta copa.La primera vez la probé sin tener la regla, para intentar familiarizarme con el proceso. Fueron los 20 minutos más agobiantes de mi año... A la hora de insertarla no tuve ningún problema. En las instrucciones está muy bien explicado y ni me dolía ni sentía nada.El problema vino cuando intenté extraerla... Debo admitir que esa parte del proceso era la que más miedo me daba desde siempre. Fui con predisposición negativa, vaya, con los típicos pensamientos de "no voy a poder sacarla" "voy a tener que ir al médico para que me la saquen" "se me va a subir por todo el cuerpo hasta llegar a cualquier otro órgano", etc. Esto sólo empeoraba la situación y entré como en una indefensión aprendida.En otro momento tuve los pensamientos lúcidos de: "Todo lo que entra, sale" "Millones de chicas utilizan esto en su día a día y todas pueden sacarla, tú no eres menos capaz". Y así fue que con mucha paciencia y relajandome conseguí agarrarla, sacar el vacío y extraerla. A partir de este momento, empecé a utilizarla con normalidad: en el día a día, para hacer deporte, bañarme en la playa y piscina, trabajar, etc. Nunca he tenido ningún problema. Alguna fuga sí, sobre todo en los días más abundantes y de menos experiencia (por ponerla mal), pero es algo que no me preocupa en absoluto.La verdad que desde hace 3 años, regalo esta copa a todas mis amigas o familiares que aún no la usan. Me parece el mejor invento del universo por ser un producto sostenible, ecológico, cómodo, barato y útil.Yo tengo un flujo bastante abundante (antes utilizaba compresas de noche y tampax de color naranja), y la copa me la cambio cada 12 horas. Suelo hervirla en agua antes de que me venga la regla. (Al principio lo hacía al terminar y al empezar, pero no es necesario realmente).En el día a día, si tengo que cambiarmela fuera de casa, tampoco supone mucho problema (no soy nada aprensiva ni sensible a eso): la saco, la limpio con un papel y la vuelvo a introducir.Un acierto!! recomiendo mucho esta marca. Yo en principio seguiré utilizando esta porque me funciona perfectamente

After much deliberation and countless youtube videos to familiarize myself with menstrual cup, I decided to buy Organicup. This is my first (And only!) menstrual cup. I grew up using pads and as an adult, I have been using tampons more often and prefer them over pads. I have to say that inserting a menstrual cup IS NOT easier than a tampon, but I found a method that works for me after 2-3 tries. What I am still not used to is the removal process, which is not painful but I still find it uncomfortable (especially when I have to find the stem). I also have a heavy flow (super plus tampons are my bff during that time of the month), and I have been finding that I have to empty out my Organicup 3x a day instead of 2x. It is still way more economical and environmentally friendly that using pads/tampons! I do recommend the Organicup, just be patient and you’ll get used to it :)
