Gel is good ,sticky but once the cover went back on the seat was still too hard i am trying other options now to resolve the comfort problem

I needed to lower my motorcycle seat, cut out all the foam, popped one of these pads in (even though I bought two) and it has been perfect. Been out for over two hours a few times, over the last few weeks, sitting on this one pad and yeah it is good and lowered the seat by a fair bit, as in 2 to 3 inches.. marvellous.. Honda Varadero 1000 in case that is of interest.

Product was delivered promptly. I have inserted it into the foam of my motorcycle seat. It does relieve the pressure on my rear, but being 63 I can't ride for long before legs and back start to ache.A few words of warning tho. The description says" Minimises heat build up when parked in full sun".Just had a rare day of sun in the UK. Mid 20's. Bike was in direct sun for 8 hrs. Within minutes of riding my rump was being cooked to well done. I had to sit back on the passenger part of the seat until it cooled down enough. That was not nice. Will be putting a reflective cover on it while parked.

I have a cb500x which I could only go about 50miles before my bum hurt, so I placed this in the seat and it is fantastic, went for a ride of 150 miles and my bum was good. well worth the money.

Just returned from 4 day tour of Ireland, over 600 miles and I am grateful that I fitted the Gel insert prior to going. The seat itself does not feel and different from the original, But it obviously helps as I am feeling nowhere near the discomfort I had last last year on a similar trip to France. Very easy to fit, I just needed to get someone to staple the seat cover back into place after I had fitted it. I would definitely recommend.

This gelpad is s good size to profile and for to a motorcycle seat. However, it is a little to firm/hard for my liking but does offer a little more comfort than the original seat foam.

I used this to cut in to 2 pieces for padding in the arm rest of my office chair. Very smushy and comfortable. The piece of blue gel was exactly the correct measurement as stated. Very easy to cut with regular scissors. This come wrapped with a thin plastic. I suggest you use that as covering as this material is very sticky on the surface (like flypaper)
Super bin zufrieden
Wie man sieht habe ich nix weg geschnitten da mein Sitz ziemlich groß ist.Ich werde aber noch ein Polstervlies drüber machen und dann den Bezug.Man braucht schon ein wenig Geschick auch beim bespannen mit dem richtigen tacker geht es auch.Ich sitze bequem auf dem Sitz ich habe die Variante von 2 cm genommen die ich auch empfehle.

Feels genuine and am about to modify my motorcycle seat.However, It's not 2 cm as the ad said. It's more like 1.8 cm. Beware of that.I will need to test it a few weeks to see if It's good enough.Update: I installed it and have had it for a few weeks now.It's NOT good!!!It's as hard as the original material and doesn't shape, form or adjust at all. I will not recommend this one. I will try to find a better one and install it...
